The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, September 2, tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will have a water war while Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) trade confessions. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will also get busted doing something he shouldn’t be doing, so here’s what to expect.
For starters, Sally’s presence at the Newman Media launch party will lead to a lecture from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) followed by a fierce faceoff with Phyllis.
Y&R spoilers say Sally will finally decide she’s had enough, so she’ll throw a drink in Phyllis’ face. Not to be outdone, Phyllis will respond by dumping an ice bucket on Sally’s head.
It’ll be a childish altercation, but Sally and Phyllis just bring out the worst in each other! Nick may disapprove of Phyllis letting Sally get to her like that – especially since this will create such a public spectacle at the Newman Media bash.
However, Adam will no doubt be amused and impressed over the way Sally consistently stands up for herself.
Since Adam isn’t a Phyllis fan, he certainly won’t blame Sally for sparring with her rival – even though Sally will end up getting a far worse soaking.
As for Amanda and Devon, they’ll exchange some secrets in Thursday’s exciting episode.
Devon only has babies on the brain these days – specifically the biological son Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) just brought into the world for Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (last played by Donny Boaz).
Although Devon was adamant that Chance would be the baby’s one and only father, he may confess to having some complicated feelings.
Devon feels a powerful connection to Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor, so his secret might involve a hint of regret that he can’t raise Dominic himself.
Then again, Devon might admit Dominic’s birth has him thinking about his future children – the ones he’ll actually raise. Amanda’s confession might relate to plans for children as well.
This would be a good opportunity for Devon and Amanda to talk about the possibility of having a family of their own one day.
Next, Billy will get caught in some compromising situation that he has to talk himself out of.
That could tie in with Billy’s attempt to snoop into Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) past, but he’ll move beyond whatever blunder he makes quickly – at least when it comes to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
It looks like Lily and Billy will gear up for some steamy fun in a hotel suite, so they’ll manage to put all the Ashland drama on hold for a while. We’ll bring you updates as other Y&R news rolls in.
