The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, September 7, teases that there’ll be a Daddy Chance Chancellor (last played by Donny Boaz) crisis while Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) carry out a Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) mission. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will also make a discovery related to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), so here’s what viewers can expect.
Since Chance is still off on some mysterious assignment and doesn’t know Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor has been born, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will hope to rectify that.
Abby will want to contact Chance somehow and let him know that his newborn son needs him.
Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) was already trying to get a message to Chance about missing Mariah the last anyone heard.
Mariah has thankfully been found – and Dominic is safe as well as healthy. This is all great news, but it’ll be tough for Abby to now be able to share any of it.
Abby has been more than patient with Chance, so no one could blame her for getting fed up and potentially lashing out.
If Abby can’t reach Chance or perhaps does reach him and doesn’t get the answer she wants, marriage problems could be brewing. Chance had better get back to Genoa City if he still wants the family he agreed to have with Abby!
Next, Tessa and Sharon will give Mariah all the support they have to give. They understand Mariah has been through a total nightmare and needs time to heal more than anything.
Of course, that doesn’t make it any easier to go through these first few days of trying to let go of Dominic.
Sharon will know it’d be good for Mariah to get things off her chest, so she’ll encourage her daughter to share her experience. It’ll be cathartic for Mariah to describe what she’s gone through and what she’s still going through now.
Tessa will also play the role of the perfect supportive girlfriend, so Mariah will get comfort – even if it doesn’t help much right now.
Other Y&R spoilers say Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will become the target of Rey’s little investigation. It doesn’t look like it’ll be anything serious, but Rey will indeed have some suspicions he wants to follow up on.
Rey will make a stunning find later and pull a bit of a “gotcha” on Adam. He’ll think he’s figured out Adam’s true motives when it comes to some scheme, but Adam may think Rey’s just obsessed with working to bring him down.
