Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, September 9, tease that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will resort to a marriage cover-up while Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) pushes Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) to move in with him. Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will also confess to Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
At the Hernandez house, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will no doubt try to play dumb.
Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) just showed up demanding answers about why Gabi was spying on him, but Gabi may lie that she doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
Of course, Phillip caught Gabi working on his laptop shortly before it started acting up.
Now Philip’s IT guy has discovered the key-logger software, so Philip’s going to point the finger straight at Gabi. Even if Gabi continues to deny any wrongdoing, you can bet Philip will remain suspicious and resolve to bring her down.
However, Gabi and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) won’t give up on their own plan to knock Philip out of the CEO chair.
DOOL fans know Jake and Gabi are hoping to trigger Philip’s assault of Brady, which shouldn’t be too hard.
In fact, Philip will get a bit physical with Brady without Gabi and Jake’s help on Thursday’s Days episode. That’s because Philip will once again find Brady in a close moment with Chloe as he works to win her over.
This time Brady will push Chloe to move in with him, so Philip will fly into a rage and grab Brady by the jacket as he confronts him.
Naturally, Brady will use this as yet another example of why Chloe shouldn’t be with this possessive brute.
Philip will play right into Brady’s hands, but he’ll manage to cool down and let Brady walk away without messing that pretty face of his up.
As for Jake and Gabi, they’ll wind up manipulating Brady into joining forces with them in the coming episodes.
Next, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will open up to Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) about his complicated situation.
Although Rafe managed to smooth things over with Ava, he’ll still be bummed about Nicole taking a step back from their friendship.
Rafe also admitted to Ava that he had more than friendly thoughts about Nicole, but he suggested it was OK since he never acted on them.
Eli will get updates on how everything went down and offer some good advice, so we’ll see if Rafe takes it.
When Ava runs into Nicole at Julie’s Place, the two of them will clear the air. Ava will confess what Rafe said about Nicole, so she should learn about those more than friendly thoughts we mentioned.
That could stir up Nicole’s dangerous desires even more, but she should remain committed to giving Rafe and Ava the space they need – at least for now.
Ava will express her gratitude as they get their friendship back on track with a toast.
Days spoilers say Rafe will show up eventually, so that should bring some awkwardness – though he’ll be glad to see Ava and Nicole are getting along.
Finally, Paulina will struggle to explain why she told the twins they could call her “Grandma.”
Paulina let the babies know it was their secret, but Abe Carver (James Reynolds) was nearby to eavesdrop and will confront Paulina soon enough.
Paulina will end up suggesting that she meant she could be the twins’ grandma one day – that is if she married Abe. It’ll catch Abe off guard to hear Paulina talking about marriage so fast, but he won’t hate the idea.
Paulina will dodge a bullet for the time being, but her bio mom secret will continue to haunt her.
