General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will grow closer to Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth), so could this lead to a surprising romance that helps Britt get over Jason?
At the very least, it could bring a hot hookup since Britt has been known to hit the sheets with no strings attached and fully enjoy it.
Britt had a steamy fling with Julian Jerome (William DeVry) – and we can’t forget about Britt falling into bed with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) either.
Austin could become another hookup partner, but there’s also the potential for something more.
During the week of September 20-24, Austin will manage to impress Britt. After Austin shows concern for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), Britt will notice and appreciate the fact that Austin truly cares.
Maxie agreed to get to know Austin a bit better as part of Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) plan, but Austin wouldn’t like it if he knew Maxie and BLQ had teamed up.
Plus, Maxie has been lying to Austin and nearly everyone else about Louise August’s (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) kidnapping.
Louise isn’t missing at all since she’s living as “Bailey Quartermaine” in Brook Lynn and Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) care.
It seems like a friendship is starting to form between Austin and Valentin, so Austin may not approve of the daddy deception after it’s exposed.
We get that Maxie’s desperate to protect her daughter, but it’s awfully cruel of her to deceive Valentin like this for any reason.
How would Maxie like it if she believed she was raising her own child and later found out that child wasn’t hers at all?
Austin may view Maxie in a negative light and lose interest in her once the whole truth comes out.
In that case, GH might pair Austin up with someone else – someone like Britt! It’s interesting that Britt will like seeing Austin’s softer side and the attention he’s giving to Maxie.
That’s the kind of thing that’ll help Austin and Britt bond, but that bond could become a love connection depending on where GH writers want to go with this.
Regardless, Britt and Austin have a nice moment coming up that should bring them closer – setting the stage for a potential pairing and a way for Britt to move beyond what she felt for Jason.
Jason and Britt might still have a shot at happiness after Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) returns to Port Charles and reclaims Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), but it’ll take time to work through that complicated story. Until then, maybe Britt and Austin could let sparks fly!
