General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, September 21, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will all face some wild reunion chaos. Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) will also get a “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) clue, so let’s dive in and see what’s coming up.
First on Tuesday’s GH episode, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will warn Peter August (Wes Ramsey) that she won’t hesitate to shoot him. Peter may not think Anna has it in her, but she’ll make it clear that any familial love she had for Peter is long gone.
Now Anna is in agent mode and unwilling to compromise, so part of her will hope Peter gives her a reason to pump a bullet.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will worry that the situation could get out of hand, so he’ll race to the clearing and do his part to help bring Peter down. Unfortunately, it looks like Peter may have a few tricks up his sleeve!
Meanwhile, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will fret over Peter coming back to Port Charles and potentially figuring out the truth about “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise.
Now that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has warned Maxie, she’ll be on edge and will mention something about “Bailey” in Austin’s presence.
Austin won’t get how “Bailey” fits into all this, so Maxie may cover by suggesting that “Bailey” is the same age and could be taken as a substitute baby.
Whatever the case, Austin will find Maxie’s “Bailey” comments a bit strange and may wonder if there’s more to the story.
As for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), she’ll unload a dilemma on Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
Brook Lynn probably won’t share too many details, but she may confess she’s helping a friend with a serious situation and deceiving someone who doesn’t deserve it in the process.
Chase is in a unique position to weigh in since he pretended to have an affair with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) with the goal of pushing Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) to marry Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
That sneaky plan helped Michael and Willow get custody of Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
Chase was also a victim of a similar situation since Willow pretended their marriage was real – just to give him the strength he needed to get better.
Since Chase admitted he could never regret that marriage, he may think Brook Lynn has to put the vulnerable party first in her vague scenario.
Of course, it’s also possible Brook Lynn could flat-out come clean, but that seems awfully risky. No matter how much Brook Lynn reveals, she’ll definitely get closer to Chase in Tuesday’s episode.
As for Willow, she’ll try to work out the details of an agreement with Michael. This may involve where exactly they’ll live now that they’re a full-fledged couple out in the open.
There’s no reason Michael and Willow can’t live together at the gatehouse – that is if it’s what they both want. It’s just a matter of getting on the same page, but hopefully Willow and Michael will do that soon enough.
Next, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will discuss how far they’ve come and where they stand now.
Finn and Liz are teetering on the edge of something more than friendship, so they’ll need to address their complex feelings and if there’s the possibility of a real romance.
In the meantime, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will push for honesty. It seems Britt knows Liz and Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) were just trying to keep her busy with that recent ploy at the hospital.
The plan kept Britt’s mind off Jason’s nuptials, so she may offer gratitude despite how easy it was to see through Terry and Liz’s efforts.
Britt will also be thankful for Austin and how attentive he’s been to Maxie lately. She’ll see that Austin is truly concerned for Maxie’s well-being and will be glad Maxie has someone like him in her corner.
At the Corinthos compound, major drama’s about to erupt. As Jason and Carly continue their steamy post-wedding moments, Sonny will appear upstairs and catch them both off guard.
Sonny’s sure to be stunned as well since he has no clue that Jason and Carly have tied the knot.
Sonny won’t be expecting the passionate moment he walks in on either. Regardless of how far things go between the newlyweds, Sonny won’t like what he sees!
