Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of October 4-8 tease that Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) with heartbreaking news while Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) gets blackmailed. Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) will once again be a romance crasher, so viewers can look forward to all that and more.
For starters, Chanel will happily give her blessing to Abe Carver (James Reynolds), who wants to propose to Paulina Price (Jackée Harry).
In fact, Chanel will agree to help Abe pull off an epic marriage proposal that’s sure to blow Paulina away.
While Chanel and Abe are busy cooking up something romantic, Paulina will mull over the past with Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers).
Lani may talk about how much she wanted to know Paulina on a deeper level when they were younger, but Paulina was always dashing off and keeping herself a bit of a mystery.
Paulina will be sorry for any pain she’s caused and may be tempted to confess her bio mom status out of guilt.
However, Paulina knows she’d make a real mess of things if she came clean about being Lani’s mother – and about Abe not being Lani’s true father.
Paulina will choose to focus on having the best relationship she can as a fake aunt, but it’ll remain hard to not claim Lani as her own.
Back with Chanel, she’ll wind up derailing Lani and Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) special night together, so she might walk in on a state of undress as usual!
As for Paulina, she’ll be over the moon when Abe pops the question. Paulina will try to put aside the guilt of the past as she accepts this offer of marriage.
Days spoilers say Paulina will eventually decide to make Lani her maid of honor, so that decision will cause a little drama once snubbed Chanel hears.
In the meantime, EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) will head out on his date with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), but it won’t go as planned.
The evening will take an awkward turn when Nicole and EJ’s date collides with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) night out.
Speaking of Ava, she’ll deceive Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) as she tries to walk him straight into a setup.
Over with Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson), he should have the mob evidence he needs by then and will blackmail Gabi.
Philip will insist Gabi’s going to give up Gabi Chic, which Ava wants to run and call Ava Chic.
If Gabi refuses to cooperate, then Philip intends to have Jake thrown behind bars with proof from Angelo Vitali (Angelo Tiffe).
An angry Gabi will go to Jake and push for the truth, so he’ll have to admit he’s indeed a hitman who did horrible, deadly things while in the Vitali mob family.
Those crimes will come back to haunt him, so Gabi won’t be too happy with Jake, Philip or Ava in the week ahead!
Next, let’s talk about Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and his efforts to stop possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) from hurting Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes).
Days spoilers say Marlena’s torture will continue until she finally gives over every part of herself to the devil – and that’s when things will really get crazy.
As for Julie, she’ll get some comfort from Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) as well as Maggie once the latter is back in town.
Maggie will return with some difficult news to share, so it looks like she’ll tell Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) that Summer Townsend (Marie Wilson) has passed away.
While Maggie presumably mourns the death of her daughter, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will strike some sort of deal with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will also decide whether she’s going to accept the starring role in Johnny’s new film, so there’ll be some big “Chabby” developments happening.
EJ and Chad also have a DOOL showdown coming up, but Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will hope Xander Cook Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) legal crisis is almost over.
Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will threaten the corrupt judge, so Gwen and Xander will hope they’ll have the freedom to reunite soon.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander and Gwen’s future will come with some twists and turns, so stay tuned to DOOL.
