The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, October 4, tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will face a secret dilemma while Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) makes a risky decision. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will also keep Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) guessing, so let’s discuss what’s coming up on Monday’s Y&R show.
After Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) patch things enough to keep their wedding on track, Ashland will need a favor from Nick. He’ll want Nick to keep a secret, so that may be referring to the one Nick already dug up.
Ashland may push Nick not to tell Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) or anyone else the car explosion story. Now that Nick knows how Bobby DeFranco became Ashland Locke, Ashland will hope Victoria’s brother can put the issue to rest.
Victoria might even invite Nick to the wedding again in exchange for his silence. Nick’s in enough hot water with Victoria as it is, so he may agree not to tell anybody – at least other than Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) who gets updates on Friday’s episode.
Nick’s goal was always to get answers for Victoria anyway, so he might suggest he’s satisfied now that she’s got them. Of course, Nick will fear more trouble’s brewing deep down, but the ball is in Victoria’s court. He’ll know Victoria has to make choices for herself, but she’ll continue to make terrible ones as we build to all the wedding drama.
In the meantime, Adam will face a choice of his own. After Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) receives the beautiful dress she designed and ordered, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will agree it’s really got the wow factor.
Although Chloe won’t see how Victoria will ever agree to wear it, Sally will think it’s possible with a little pre-wedding trick and a ride on the Newman jet. Adam will have to come through for Sally on that last part, but she’ll have to sell him on the idea first.
Sally will want Adam to understand what a fabulous opportunity this is for the company and will deny any ulterior dating motives. It looks like Adam will eventually cave in since he has a real soft spot for Sally and secretly wants her in Tuscany with him.
Over with Amanda, she’ll be full of surprises and will leave Devon curious about what’s next. Devon loves having Amanda at the penthouse now, but she may remain stressed over Naya Benedict’s (Ptosha Storey) condition if more scares occur. Amanda’s got a lot on her mind, so she could find it tough to balance things as this storyline moves along.
