In tonight’s I love a Mama’s Boy episode, Tia, Theous and Carolyn are on a trip in Las Vegas. Tia is miserable. Theous has been hanging with his mom the whole time, ignoring her. Tia has been trying to chase him down. He hasn’t done anything with her.
In California, Matt, Kim and Kelly are spending time. Kelly is planning a party for Kim who is headed to Texas for her new job. She doesn’t like the situation and thinks it is weird Kim is going but she wants to be supportive. Hours later, Kim arrives. She is happy for the party even if there are 4 people there.
In Connecticut, Stephanie and Mike finally talk. She feels like he is holding her back. She wants to go back to L.A. She is annoyed he wants to stay here for his mom. He will do all these bug life gestures for his mom but not for her. They have been together for 3 years and are not engaged yet.
Tracy goes out with her sister and her cousin to discuss her crazy honeymoon. She tells them about Jayne and how smothering she was. She also took time by herself. Tracy wants her to get a boyfriend so that she won’t be around so much.
Back in Connecticut, Liz arrives. Mike has stormed off. Stephanie vents. She isn’t a priority. Liz thinks it is because he is so involved in his work. Stephanie wants to be a priority. But she doesn’t want to wait around. She wants to know if she is the one. Liz calls Mike and then leaves to meet him, leaving Stephanie behind.
Back at Kim’s party, Kelly gives her a gift. But before she opens she has to guess what it is. She can’t. Kelly unveils it. Its a chair and harp. Kelly performs a poem she wrote. Kelly is so happy that Matt will be all her’s.
Tracy is holding a little happy hour. She invites Jayne. She plans to talk to her about dating. She wants her to get a life, she tells her nicely. Jayne agrees. But she is worried about her family. They come first. Plus she hasn’t dated in over 20 years. But she will give it a try.
Debra, Tia’s step-mom, has come to visit. They are very close. Debra wants to see Vegas pictures. Tia vents. Debra tells her she needs to step up and speak up. She needs to get planning on her wedding. Tia agrees. She is going to try.
Kelly checks on Matt. He is lethargic and mopey as Kim packs. Kim feels he is already pulling away but she needs to do some soul searching and work on her career. She is ready to move and see what else is out there. Meanwhile, keenly checks Matt;’s temperature and tucks him on the couch.
Liz and Mike talk. He feels pressured by Stephanie. She wants to move. He doesn’t. He also doesn’t know about marriage with her. Liz tells him not to rush. She is his guardian angel and will always be there. They hug. Whoever he marries will need to understand he will come to her for everything.
