Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, October 22, tease that Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will face a hospital emergency while Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) gets arrested over the shooting. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will also launch an attack on Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), so let’s talk about all the DOOL drama ahead.
First, Jake will rush to wounded Abe’s side now that he’s taken a bullet. It looks like Carmine Merlino (Richard Stevens) will bolt and leave Jake to deal with the shooting aftermath, so Jake will wind up in serious trouble.
It won’t be long until Jake is taken into police custody, so Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will race to the Salem PD and demand answers.
Meanwhile, Marlena will head to Bayview and try to block Julie’s visit with Doug Williams (Bill Hayes).
That won’t be easy with Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) using his detective status to his advantage, but it seems Abe’s misfortune will be the devil’s good luck.
Eli should get called away – leaving him unable to escort Julie and force this visit.
Julie will land at St. Luke’s afterward, so Marlena will follow and plot a vicious attack.
Days spoilers say Marlena will want to shut Julie up once and for all, so she’ll apparently try to drown her in a vessel of holy water.
After John listens to the rest of Doug’s therapy session tape, he’ll be puzzled by it. The devil might create some static so that things aren’t crystal clear.
Kayla Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) interruption won’t help either, but John will still be on the right track.
It looks like John will arrive in the nick of time and stop Marlena’s attack on Julie at the church.
Julie should leave for the hospital without knowing Marlena’s horrible intentions.
John, on the other hand, will think it’s high time he had an honest conversation with possessed Marlena. He’ll spark a showdown that’ll spill over into Monday’s Days episode and deliver some shockers.
Finally, Kayla will do whatever she can to save Abe’s life. Once the paramedics bring Abe in, Kayla will really struggle to keep Abe’s heart pumping.
Abe’s set to flatline soon, so that may be the Friday DOOL cliffhanger that sets up his near-death experience once Monday rolls around.
