General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) may betray Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and help his son recover all things Cassadine. GH has been delivering some big hints about where this storyline is headed next, so let’s discuss what’s coming up.
For starters, Valentin is on the verge of facing a horrible, life-changing blow. He’s bonded with “Bailey Quartermaine” (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) as if she were his own flesh and blood.
Valentin fully believes “Bailey” is his daughter, so it’s going to be soul-crushing when he finds out that’s not true.
It looks like Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) may find out this not-the-father shocker and expose it to get back at Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
Of course, Austin may also feel like Valentin needs to know he’s raising a child that isn’t his own.
Although Austin will know it’s going to be devastating, he may feel like he’d want to know the real story if he were in Valentin’s position.
Unfortunately, Valentin still won’t get the whole truth! It seems Brook Lynn may trade that lie for another one by passing Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) off as an alternative father.
That’d mean getting Chase’s cooperation, but there are signs that Brook Lynn and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) may be able to do just that. Regardless, what really matters is that Valentin will lose the father title.
Valentin will obviously be depressed and bitter, so he’ll really need a win of some sort.
Victor will walk free and set up shop in Port Charles, so that’ll bring an opportunity to bond with his biological son and help him out in the process.
It’s an interesting twist of fate for Valentin to gain a father and lose a daughter, but that’s what he’s facing here. As Victor works to connect with Valentin, they could become quite the team against Nikolas.
After all, Valentin is indeed a Cassadine if Victor is being honest. Nikolas must’ve made sure the DNA test that proved otherwise was rigged, so Valentin needs to get revenge.
The timing couldn’t be better since it looks like Nikolas is going to skate by with ordering the hit on Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig).
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is apparently going to take the pardon deal, so the dropped investigation may put an end to that prison threat for Nikolas.
That doesn’t mean Nikolas won’t be punished in some way! Valentin could easily fight to reclaim Wyndemere and the Cassadine fortune with Victor backing him up.
Nikolas assured Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) that he didn’t think Victor would betray him, but she was quick to point out that those closest to us are often the ones who do. Victor and Nikolas’ alliance could be blown to smithereens soon enough.
Maybe Victor will even lie that Nikolas was in cahoots with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) as well and try to stir up more legal trouble.
Whatever the case, Nikolas has made a mistake in trusting Victor to protect him.
You can bet Victor will side with Valentin over Nikolas, so the two of them could join forces to make Nikolas’ miserable.
This should be a win-win since Nikolas will pay and Valentin will find a new sense of purpose to help him cope with losing “Bailey.”
General Hospital spoilers say Valentin has some tough times ahead, but perhaps there’s vengeful light at the end of the tunnel – at least when it comes to the score he has to settle with Nikolas!
