Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Thursday, November 11 Recap – Victor Fires Philip – Ava Threatens Trask – Brady Shuts Kristen Down

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, November 11, reveals that Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) fired Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) while Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) threatened DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang). Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) also shut down Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) lawyer, so let’s talk about all Thursday’s DOOL action.

At the police station, DA Trask had a proposition for Jake DiMera (Brandon Baraah). She was willing to drop all the charges if Jake would say under oath that Philip was blackmailing him.

Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) realized DA Trask wanted to neutralize Victor and didn’t think it was wise to make an enemy out of him.

However, Jake quickly snapped up the deal – and once Gabi was alone with Jake, she admitted she was merely holding out for a better one.

Jake was fine with the deal as is and felt he could tackle anything with Gabi by his side.

Once Ava was led in the interrogation room, Gabi gloated about Jake’s imminent freedom. She wondered who was going to believe that the dead son who hated Ava came back to save her.

After Jake signed the paperwork, he happily left with Gabi. Meanwhile, DA Trask asked Ava to sign her statement, but Ava crumpled it up and was ready to tell the “truth” instead.

Ava claimed she told that cover-up story in a panic and lied that she killed Carmine Merlino (Richie Stephens) in self-defense.

DA Trask didn’t believe a word of Ava’s new version of events, but Ava thought that was Trask’s problem. She shrugged that it was her word against Carmine’s – and Carmine was dead. Ava reminded Trask of who her family was and urged her to tread carefully.

When Trask asked if that was a threat, Ava insisted it was a fact. She thought Trask should take her latest wins and quit while she was ahead.

Later, Ava surprised Gabi and Jake by showing up back at the Hernandez house. Ava said she scored her freedom by telling Trask what she wanted to hear and thought “little Gabi Gabster” could pat herself on the back for giving her the idea.

In Xander Cook Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) hotel room, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) was feeling blue since Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) hated her now.

Gwen thought maybe Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) was right when she said Gwen was incapable of loving anyone else, but Xander obviously didn’t agree.

Gwen wanted to use Xander’s $1 million to get away from all the drama and take the island trip they planned, but Xander admitted they couldn’t.

Xander offered updates on the DA blackmailing him out of his money – though he did admit Trask planned to use it for a good cause.

Gwen was upset over Xander sacrificing for her again, but Xander felt like Gwen was the best thing that had happened to him since…

Xander trailed off as he thought about Sarah Horton (last played by Linsey Godfrey), but he ultimately said Gwen was the best thing that had happened to him in a long time.

Gwen thought that was “bloody sad,” but Xander offered a little pep talk since he believed he could change Jack’s mind about her.

After Xander headed out, Gwen dashed off to see Trask at the Salem PD. Gwen said she knew the DA had appropriated Xander’s $1 million and was there to explain why Trask should give it back.

At the Horton house on Thursday’s Days episode, Abigail arrived to see how Jack was doing and ask what happened with Gwen.

Jack admitted he stormed out on Gwen and hoped she got the message that she was no longer welcome in that house.

After Jack cried over his previous treatment of Abigail and how he enabled Gwen’s vicious lie, he confessed that he still loved Gwen as his daughter. Nevertheless, Jack felt Gwen was his problem now, not his family’s.

“None of you have to have anything to do with her ever again. You have my word on that,” Jack promised.

After Abigail left, Xander arrived to discuss Gwen and said he wasn’t leaving until Jack saw things his way.

At Basic Black, Brady urged Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) to tell Philip that nothing happened at the Salem Inn. Chloe thought Philip had turned a corner and didn’t want to rock the boat by bringing it up again.

After Brady got a text from Kristen’s lawyer, he assumed Kristen wanted help seeing Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater).

Brady didn’t know how he was supposed to explain to Rachel that there’d be no special trip and that her mom wasn’t coming back.

Once Brady talked through everything with Chloe, he composed a message to let the lawyer know he didn’t want to see or hear from Kristen again.

Brady thanked Chloe for being a good friend and urged her to go have dinner with Philip, but there were definitely some “Broe” sparks flying.

At the Kiriakis mansion, Philip thought about what he assumed was Chloe’s betrayal with Brady and broke a glass.

Next, Victor complained about Philip’s messes and mentioned that he heard Philip was back in league with Ava.

After repeatedly calling Philip a moron, Victor fired him from Titan Industries. Philip eventually assumed Brady would take his place. “First he steals my girlfriend, then he steals my job,” Philip grumbled.

Victor thought that at least Brady was out of Kristen’s clutches and was glad about Philip losing Chloe for his sake, too.

Philip angrily hoped whoever took over Titan burned it to the ground and wanted Victor to watch as he threw gasoline on the fire!

In the park on Thursday’s Days episode, Philip recalled planting the new tree with Chloe. He then snapped back to reality and ripped the tree out of the ground in a fit of rage.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Philip’s downward spiral will continue, so stick with DOOL.
