General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, November 23, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will strike a deal while Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) role in the “Bailey Quartermaine” (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) secret lands in jeopardy. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will also get a visitor she isn’t expecting, so GH has some great stuff in store.
For starters, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will no doubt be upset over her grandbaby’s fate.
Sasha and Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) newborn son is currently in the NICU, so there’s no need to make things harder on worried Grandma Gladys.
In light of everything that’s gone down, Carly and Sonny will agree this is a good opportunity to make peace.
It looks like Sonny and Carly will strike a bit of a deal ahead of the Thanksgiving festivities, so they may reach an agreement with Gladys and hope they can all have a happy holiday together.
However, Carly will remain upset over Nina and her recent encounter with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Caleb and Kyler Ends).
Nina is still too close to their family as far as Carly’s concerned, but Sonny still won’t be interested in taking any firm stance against his Nixon Falls ex.
Carly will want to put their Nina problems to rest, but that could mean agreeing to disagree at this point.
Whatever the case, Sonny is still keeping “Mike” and Nina’s romance under wraps – and that means we’ve got a secret that’s going to blow up down the road.
In the meantime, another secret could be poised to explode in Nina’s face. It was a bad idea to get caught up in Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Maxie Jones’ (Kristen Storms) secret baby scheme.
Nina wanted to help protect Louise, but it was a massive betrayal to leave Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) out of the loop.
Now Valentin knows he’s not the father, but he doesn’t realize “Bailey” is actually Maxie’s daughter. Will Nina end up bringing Valentin a step closer to the whole truth?
Valentin knows Nina better than anyone, so he may suspect she already knew when he fills her in on “Bailey” not being his child.
Nina tends to have secrets written all over her face, so she may be unable to hide her lack of surprise.
That could leave Valentin hurt and enraged that Nina would stoop so low.
It could also leave Valentin wondering why Nina would hide something like that and become the start of putting some Louise puzzle pieces together.
Whatever the case, Valentin will make a promise to help Maxie. He may not realize solve the rest of the baby mystery just yet, but he’ll still battle guilt over Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and will want to help track Louise down.
Peter’s phone call will leave Maxie rattled, but Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will feel like they have everything under control. Something tells us that’s far from true, but Maxie will be lulled into a false sense of security anyway!
Maxie will feel like she’s on the verge of a reunion with Louise, but Peter’s probably going to make a quick getaway before you know it.
Until then, Anna will discuss how she was the target. She may remember when Peter went after her and wish she’d ended their battle before it snowballed any further.
As for Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), they’ll be on the same page. Brook Lynn will hint about tempting fate again and wonder if Chase is really prepared to do that.
Chase has made it clear that he’ll do anything to shield Louise from Peter, so he’ll keep his word on that.
While Chase and Brook Lynn get ready to spread their fake paternity story, Sasha will urge Brando to do what she’s unable to.
There may be medical reasons why Sasha isn’t permitted to see the baby, but Brando might be allowed in the NICU without her.
Fortunately, Sasha will get a visit from someone in her ICU room while she waits. In addition to Gladys reaching out sooner or later, Nina may also let Sasha know she’s thinking of her.
Finally, Britt will be an emotional wreck on Cassadine Island. She won’t know how she can handle it if Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) suffers a deadly fate as the result of the mission she brought him on.
Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will comfort Britt as much as she can, but Britt’s going to be heartbroken when she’s forced to return home without Jason by her side.
General Hospital spoilers say Jason’s sad outcome will make waves in Port Charles, so stay tuned.
