The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) will get caught up in a fierce bidding war for ChancComm, so Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will laugh all the way to the bank!
It’s time for Jill to come home and try to make lemonade out of lemons now that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has made such a mess. During the week of November 29-December 3, Jill will be back in Genoa City and ready to negotiate.
Since ChancComm’s credibility has been destroyed, Jill will know they’re going to have a tough fight coming back from their latest blow.
Billy won’t like the idea of letting the Newmans win, but what if there’s a way to make multiple Newmans lose instead?
It’s clear that Adam and Victoria’s sibling rivalry is always going to be there under the surface. No matter how much progress Adam attempts to make with Victoria, he can’t erase the past completely.
Victoria will never truly trust Adam and has a competitive personality in business anyway.
It’s easy to see why Victoria wants to go after ChancComm as a new purchase for Newman-Locke, especially since it means scoring something Adam wants.
Adam was hoping to scoop ChancComm up at a much cheaper price due to the chaos Billy unleashed. That won’t be possible once Jill launches a bidding war – presumably between Newman Media and Newman-Locke.
Victoria will want to pull off a victory with Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) backing her up – and she may be willing to pay just about anything to stick it to Adam. Likewise, Adam won’t want to let all his hard work go to waste.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) played a big role in helping Adam pull off his plan with Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones), but Adam definitely ran the show.
Adam relished the opportunity to make Billy suffer and will want to deliver the final blow by acquiring ChancComm for Newman Media.
That means Adam will be willing to pay a steep price – perhaps more than he should really be paying in the aftermath of ChancComm’s destruction.
In other words, both Adam and Victoria could get caught up in paying top dollar for a company that’s tarnished and not worth all that much anymore.
Jill could come out a winner along with Lily, who’ll score a new job thanks to one Jill offers.
Billy may not fare as well, but he honestly deserves to suffer a bit for letting himself get duped by Adam, Victor and Ashland.
Regardless, Jill will prove she’s got some business smarts by pitting Victoria and Adam against each other in a major battle for the company.
