Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, December 13, reveals that Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) sonogram skipping upset Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) while Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) slapped Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and threatened Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Here’s how it all played out on Monday’s action-packed DOOL episode.
At the cabin, Marlena walked in on Ben and Ciara arguing over whether to return home. Ciara assured Marlena that no one would find her at the cabin, but she pointed out this couldn’t go on indefinitely.
Ciara reminded Marlena that she was pregnant and had her first sonogram appointment coming up.
Marlena insisted that she wouldn’t let anything happen to the baby. She said that if Ben and Ciara went back on their promise to protect her, she could die. Marlena was adamant that John could find the cabin if Gabriel (Mark Colson) the hiker could.
Ben decided maybe Ciara could go to the sonogram appointment alone while he stayed with Marlena. That idea didn’t go over well with either one of them!
Marlena wanted both Ben and Ciara to stay, but Ciara was upset with Ben for bailing on their first major baby appointment.
Ciara spoke with Ben privately outside and argued that Marlena was too concerned about their unborn child.
It was starting to creep Ciara out – not to mention she didn’t get why Marlena would need her to stay at the cabin along with Ben.
Ben didn’t want to abandon Marlena, so that left him at an impasse with Ciara. When Marlena found Ciara and Ben in a tense moment, she asked if everything was OK.
“Ben made his choice, and it’s not me,” Ciara said before rushing back in the cabin. She looked pensive as she contemplated her next move – and later, Ben returned with Marlena to find that Ciara had given them the slip.
A panicked Marlena insisted that Ciara couldn’t go back to Salem. Marlena suggested John could get the truth out of Ciara and come there to kill her, so she wanted to locate Ciara immediately.
At the hospital on Monday’s Days episode, John stopped by Brady’s room. He wanted to stick around and help Brady as well as Belle Brady (Martha Madison), but they felt like the most important thing right now was for John to track down Marlena.
John spotted Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) in the waiting area, which led to her mentioning Marlena’s evil intentions for Ben and Ciara’s baby. Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) arrived and got updates as well, so he joined John in heading over to Ben and Ciara’s apartment.
After finding a pile of mail on the floor and spoiled milk on the table, Shawn and John knew the place had been empty for a while.
John also noted that Ciara and Ben must’ve left in a hurry. Shawn repeatedly tried to call Ciara, who finally picked up as she entered the door of the apartment.
By then, John was already at the cabin after putting the pieces together. Just as Ben and Marlena were about to leave, they opened the door to find a glowering John.
After Kate confirmed the prosthetic leg found in the river belonged to Philip, she was an angry, distraught mess.
Kate didn’t want Roman Brady’s (Josh Taylor) comfort. She was more interested in payback, so she wound up slapping Chloe and ranting about her dangerous game.
Kate felt there had been real consequences this time and called Chloe just as guilty of murder as Brady. She insisted she’d make Chloe pay for her actions and marched over to the hospital.
In the meantime, Belle checked Brady’s credit card statement online and found that he’d spent $72.00 at the pub on the night of Philip’s disappearance.
After turning to Roman for an itemized receipt, Belle found out that Brady bought six shots of whiskey.
Chloe wanted to see Philip’s prosthetic leg at the police station and told Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) she was partly responsible for what happened to him. When Brady called, Chloe declined to answer since she didn’t know what to say to him.
On Monday’s Days episode, Brady left a message begging Chloe to believe in him before remembering something new. He thought back to Tate Black’s (Colin and Kyle Schroeder) phone call and getting whacked just outside the pub.
Suddenly, Kate popped in long enough to tell Brady that if Philip was a dead man, then Brady was a dead man, too!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Brady will keep trying to clear his name, but it won’t be easy thanks to Philip’s setup.
