The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) may believe Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) Santa story, so he could face the heartbreaking realization that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) kissed Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and lied.
B&B fans know Douglas has already been blabbing about Grandma kissing Santa Claus, but no one thinks it’s a legitimate story so far.
Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) assumed Douglas just got the song lyrics wrong the first time around.
The second time Douglas tried to blab to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), but Liam shut the kid down since Mommy was upset.
However, there’s obviously a reason the show let Douglas become privy to this New Year’s Eve secret.
If someone would really listen to Douglas and get a few details, this would be easy to figure out.
It looks like the third time will be the charm since Liam and Hope will have a more serious talk with Douglas soon.
Peanut Butter the stuffed rabbit will be sitting nearby, so Douglas may mention going on the hunt for his bunny and seeing Grandma kissing Santa Claus on New Year’s Eve.
Liam and Hope may finally believe there’s some truth to Douglas’ story since Hope will run to Brooke soon after and push her to confess anything she’s been leaving out.
Nevertheless, kids will be kids – and Douglas certainly hasn’t been quick to forget what he saw that night.
Even if Hope and Liam encourage Thomas to stop spreading his Santa tale, that doesn’t mean he will.
Ridge needs a dramatic way to find out about Brooke kissing Deacon behind his back, so Douglas spilling the secret to Grandpa himself would indeed be dramatic.
Maybe Ridge will enjoy a visit with Douglas and spend some time with him like they did on Christmas Eve.
Ridge could mention missing the fun on New Year’s Eve and set the stage for Douglas to make a shocking confession.
Like Liam, Ridge might initially think Douglas is just being a silly kid. He could laugh his grandson’s claims off until Douglas mentions watching Grandma kissing Santa through the window.
Douglas might elaborate about coming to look for his stuffed rabbit on New Year’s Eve and seeing that shocker while he was up at the main house.
That would surely be enough for Ridge to figure out Brooke was with another man instead of all alone.
Naturally, it wouldn’t be too hard for Ridge to nail down that it was Deacon. Douglas may unknowingly break Grandpa’s heart with his story, but at least B&B could put his secret to good use!

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say the truth has to come out one way or another, so Douglas’ knowledge could become an important puzzle piece for Ridge.
