The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Thursday, January 20, tease that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will suspect Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) was Santa, so Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) clues will crack the kissing case.
At the cabin, Liam and Hope will continue to process what Douglas just told them. Douglas has finally conveyed that he saw Grandma kissing Santa for real on New Year’s Eve.
Douglas explained how he went to retrieve his stuffed rabbit and witnessed Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) make-out session through the window.
After a little more grilling on Thursday’s B&B episode, Douglas may admit he couldn’t get a good look at Santa’s face. Douglas might mention the Santa hat and click a few more pieces into place for Hope and Liam.
Once Liam and Hope are confident they know everything Douglas knows, they’ll surely send him off to play while they mull everything over.
Hope and Liam will realize Brooke was kissing a mystery man the same night she fell off the wagon, so they’ll assume that might’ve played a role in her drinking.
Of course, Deacon should quickly spring to mind as an option.
After all, Deacon was at Brooke’s house looking awfully friendly with her that night – that is until she suddenly cut Deacon out of her life.
Liam may push Hope to see that the puzzle fits together for Deacon to be Santa. He may speculate that Brooke is now pushing Deacon away because they crossed the line.
Hope may not want to believe Deacon had a hand in Brooke’s downward drinking spiral, but she’ll have to admit the hints add up to trouble.
It won’t be long until Hope decides she’s ready to confront Brooke and push for a confession about the rest of New Year’s Eve – the part her mom’s been hiding.
Next, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) will act on their mutual feelings.
Now that Paris and Carter have both admitted they can’t stop thinking about the kiss they shared, they’ll ultimately let their passion erupt again.
Carter and Paris will have a blast making out, but Paris isn’t going to be happy over Carter’s imminent change of heart.
Carter will decide this isn’t such a good idea during the week of January 24-28, so another big romantic setback is looming for Paris.
