The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, January 24, tease that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will make a discovery that may involve Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) buried issues. Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will also make a furious move, so here’s what viewers can look forward to.
Y&R fans know Rey has tried to be Mr. Patient with Sharon lately. They were interrupted over and over at Crimson Lights, but Rey was finally able to take Sharon on a wonderful date.
However, things aren’t quite as perfect as Rey would have Sharon believe.
Rey knows how much Sharon’s family means to her, but it seems like he’s starting to feel a bit threatened by Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) role in her life.
That doesn’t mean Rey has cheating concerns at this point, but he may feel like Nick leans on Sharon a little too much.
There’s a chance Sharon and Rey will get interrupted once again – perhaps by Nick in need of support or advice.
That’s the kind of thing that could leave Rey frustrated and perhaps bring out his jealous side enough for Sharon to see it.
Regardless, Sharon will make a discovery involving Rey on Monday’s episode.
Sharon will gain a new perspective on her husband, so that could be a good thing or a bad thing.
Of course, it’s also possible Rey will have a chat with Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) as he copes with Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) engagement to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).
Rey might open up about understanding what it’s like to be on the outside of something.
It’s that way for Rey when it comes to the “Shick” family these days.
That could serve as another path to Sharon’s discovery, but it definitely sounds like there’ll be some problems she didn’t anticipate.
Next, Chloe will decide she’s done playing referee for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
When Chelsea once again gripes, Chloe will wonder what else her bestie could possibly want from her.
Chloe will feel like she’s bent over backwards to satisfy all Chelsea’s needs and make her happy.
Chloe will be sick of Chelsea refusing to cooperate, so she’ll insist Chelsea needs to work this out with Sally herself.
Chloe will no longer be willing to play peacemaker and will give Chelsea a stern warning about what’s ahead.
Chloe will feel confident Newman Fashion is going to blow up if Chelsea can’t find a way forward with Sally – for real this time.
Now that Chloe is stepping aside, it’ll be up to Chelsea and Sally to figure things out.
Speaking of figuring things out, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will continue to do that as well.
Abby will have to determine how to truly embrace the new shared custody situation and be the supportive wife Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) needs.
Abby will have to make some other tough choices as Chance’s trauma rears its ugly head again, but she’ll try to do what’s best for her husband and her family.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby will hold out hope for a bright future, but there’ll be some bleak moments as Chance keeps struggling.
