The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks, January 24 to February 4, tease that Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) ultimatum for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will create conflict while Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) reunite following his return home. Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) proposal will also stun Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), so let’s talk about what’s in store.
During the week of January 24-28, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will struggle with the promise she’s made.
Agreeing to shared custody of Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) was Abby’s best option under the circumstances, but the adjustment will be difficult.
Naturally, it’ll be wonderful from Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) perspective.
Devon will get everything ready for Dominic’s first overnight visit and tackle an exciting challenge with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), so it sounds like they’ll enjoy taking care of Dom together.
Over with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), she’ll seem a bit unnerved over Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) easy bond with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Ordway).
As Chelsea’s feud with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) spirals out of control, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will bow out of playing referee.
That’ll leave Chelsea and Sally to sort through their issues for themselves, especially since Adam will want no part of the drama.
Adam has his own issues to worry about since Victor will give Victoria Newman-Locke’s (Amelia Heinle) offer some serious thought.
After Victoria pulls off a few key business moves, Victor will consider her proposal about putting Newman Media under the Newman-Locke umbrella.
Adam will seethe over Victor even considering it and will wonder what it’ll mean for him if the sale is made.
Back with Chance, his trauma will worsen his mental state and leave him truly struggling at home.
Abby will try to be there for Chance, but he’ll mull over a letter that affects him and end up in a pretty dark place.
Phyllis will also contemplate an offer to work at Marchetti with Summer Newman-Abbott (Michael Mealor) while Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) kicks off his investigation of Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) for Victor.
Michael will soon zero in on Ashland’s health, so the discoveries he’s on the verge of making are going to spell trouble.
There’s a good chance Ashland was never all that sick, so that’s something Michael could find out down the road.
As for Mariah, she’ll want Tessa to experience the full marriage proposal experience.
That’s why Mariah will surprise Tessa on the Crimson Lights patio, where she’ll show off some reminders of the past and walk Tessa through their important milestones as a couple.
Mariah will then pull out an engagement ring and ask Tessa to marry her, so Tessa will naturally say yes.
Tessa was the one who first popped the question, but she’ll think it’s quite sweet for Mariah to spin this situation around and propose as well.
Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will also make an admission and get some good advice from his dad.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) may help Noah as he continues to deal with his heartbreak, but the best thing Noah can do is look to the future.
Meanwhile, Jack will finally return from his business trip, so he’ll find some mayhem waiting for him.
Of course, it won’t be long until Jack reconnects with Phyllis, who’ll be happy to have him back in town.
Back with Victor, he’ll work out the details of a major deal – one that Adam may not approve of.
Adam will no doubt complain if Victor moves forward with making Newman Media part of Newman-Locke.
During the week of January 31-February 4, Adam will face Victor’s ultimatum. Victor may think Adam needs to shape up or ship out when it comes to the work he’s doing at Newman Media.
Victor might make Victoria promise to keep Adam on as Newman Media’s CEO, but will Adam even go for that idea?
Regardless, Sally will find herself cornered and in some trouble.
Sally’s already been concerned about Victor not caring about the fashion platform and fears Chelsea could try to force her out.
Sally’s job could be at risk along with Adam’s, so there’s the potential for them to quit together and work on a new project.
Whatever the case, let’s talk about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) for a moment since he’ll meet up with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and discuss his current headspace.
Billy may gush over Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and the great work she’s doing now that she’s running Chancellor Industries.
Billy will also want to make sure Traci isn’t holding any grudges following their latest tiff, so she may assure her brother that all is well.
Finally, Phyllis will confide in Jack, who may open up to her in return.
Y&R spoilers say Jack and Phyllis will score another chance to grow closer and build toward a romantic reunion, so don’t miss the gripping scenes ahead.
