General Hospital Spoilers: Week of January 31 Update – Drew Warns Carly – Mac In Grave Danger - Maxie’s New Strategy

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of January 31-February 4 teases that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will form a new strategy while Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) warns Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will also suspect Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) agenda, so here’s what GH fans can expect.

First, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will deal with some drama in the art therapy room of the hospital.

Liz will get some support from Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) as she frets over Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) legacy and how it’s being dismantled.

Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will also get duped when Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) decides two can play charades.

Spencer will put on an act with Esme since the trust between them was shattered. He’ll apparently make amends just so he can keep an eye on manipulative Esme.

After all, Spencer is headed to prison soon and won’t be on the outside to protect his friends. He may want to keep the peace and see what else he can learn about Esme’s agenda while she’s interning at Spring Ridge.

Esme will grow suspicious of Spencer, but she always thinks she’s the smartest person in the room. She’ll think she’s in control of the situation, but Spencer might be smarter than she gives him credit for.

Next, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will give Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) a special gift.

Willow will realize Michael is offering an exciting trip to Paris, so it may not take long for her to get on board.

When Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) finds out Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is cooking up something grand to win Carly over, he’ll warn Sonny to call it off.

Ned just won’t think Sonny’s working the right angle when it comes to scoring a “CarSon” reunion.

Carly will feel lost and alone, but she’ll get some comfort from Michael before someone else steps up.

Drew will have an unexpected encounter with Carly, so he’ll likely find a way to warn her about how out of control Sonny was the other day.

Liesl will also get updates on how Nina handled the recent Sonny mayhem and will suspect some ulterior motives.

Nina will act like she only wants what’s best for Sonny, even if that’s Carly. Obrecht may feel like Nina is in denial as she quizzes her about any agenda she might have.

Maxie will also work on a new strategy to make sure Louise August aka “Bailey Quartermaine” (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) stays safe.

We’ll see Maxie chat with Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) as well, so they’ll rehash what happened in the woods – including that surprise kiss.

Speaking of surprises, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will get one when Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) shows up at the gallery.

Ava may admit she thought Trina would be gone on her cabin trip longer, but Trina won’t even want to think about that catastrophe.

It sounds like Trina will fill Ava in on some of the mayhem anyway – and later, Spencer will have a sendoff at Kelly’s as he prepares to report to Spring Ridge.

Across town, Ned and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will touch many hearts when they renew their vows.

That’ll lead to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) apologizing to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) over how squirrelly she’s been acting.

Chase won’t hold it against Brook Lynn and should understand her perspective more as they talk.

Brook Lynn and Chase could be on the verge of sharing a kiss as they veer into romantic territory.

As for the vow renewal, that’ll be capped off with some stunning moments. Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) may land back in lockup or flee once Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) past comes back to haunt her.

Sonny will try to get through to Carly again, but she won’t be ready to forgive and forget.

Later, Sonny will receive words of wisdom from Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) as well as Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

Elsewhere, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will remain a captive until Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is good and ready to let him go – which won’t be until after a risky plan goes wrong!

Finally, Peter’s Pentonville transport should kick off a world of kidnapping chaos. Louise will be targeted – and means Mac Scorpio (John J. York) should land in grave danger since he’ll be escorting Peter back to Pentonville with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

There’ll be a little calm before the storm, but you’d better believe Peter will unleash turmoil when the time is right.

General Hospital spoilers say Peter will fight hard for his daughter, but Maxie will fight just as hard to stop her out-of-control ex.
