General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, February 1 Update – Sam’s Stalled Romance – Sonny’s Big Gamble – Drew & Carly’s Encounter

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, February 1, teases that Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) stalled romance will be addressed while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) prepares for a big gamble. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) encounter is also on the way, so here’s what GH viewers can look forward to.

Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) agreed to renew her vows with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), so they have a wedding do-over coming up.

This vow renewal will take place at the Quartermaine mansion, but this quiet gathering will set up some explosive bombshells.

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will get the living room ready for Olivia and Ned’s ceremony, but she’ll mostly be interested in making sure Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) keeps her lips zipped.

Tracy may promise to keep quiet about “Bailey Quartermaine” being Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt), but she’ll still have concerns.

Since Tracy wanted to send Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) out of the country with “Bailey,” she may warn Maxie that keeping Louise in Port Charles is far from safe.

GH fans know that’s true since Peter August (Wes Ramsey) already knows the truth about his daughter!

For now, Maxie will remain in the dark on that and hope it all works out.

Once Maxie talks to Tracy, she’ll let everyone know the living room’s all decked out for another wedding.

Ned will be eager to tie the knot with Olivia again, but Olivia will make time to caution Sonny about his grand plans.

Sonny will bet on his romantic gesture winning Carly over, but Olivia will have doubts about that – just like the ones Ned expressed before.

Carly asked for time and space, but Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may not think she’s going to get either of those things at the Q manse!

Both Sonny and Carly will attend the vow renewal, so Drew may mention them both being on the guest list during his encounter with Carly.

Drew might mention Sonny’s recent outburst at The Savoy and express concern about him.

Regardless of the pain Sonny caused, Drew should keep rooting for a “CarSon” reunion.

Over with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), he’ll confide in Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) about feeling rather stuck.

Dante and Sam’s romance has stalled a bit, so Chase will listen and weigh in with his thoughts.

Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) won’t be shy about offering her own opinion, so she may corner Sam and wonder what’s happening in her relationship.

Perhaps Kristina will push Sam to get her act together and make Dante feel like her heart’s truly in this.

As for Brook Lynn, she’ll turn to someone for forgiveness. It might be Chase who gets an apology and a sincere plea since Brook Lynn has been so hot and cold with him lately.

Brook Lynn might open up about eavesdropping on Chase when he said harsh things about her.

Chase deserves a chance to clarify where he stands since he was apparently just trying to get Dante off his back.

Back with Maxie, she’ll do a little more scheming and hope to protect Louise.

Maxie will hope she distracted Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) enough to stop his questions, especially since she was willing to plant that kiss.

Naturally, Maxie didn’t seem to mind too much. She’s into Austin – and Austin is into Maxie as well.

That’s why Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will likely try to keep pushing Austin and Maxie together – perhaps by encouraging Austin to attend the recommitment ceremony as Maxie’s date.

One way or another, Austin will indeed get all dressed up and show up to the vow renewal.

That’ll come as a surprise to Maxie and force her to address the lip lock in Pautauk eventually.

Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will hope she can sort out all her birth certificate woes quickly.

Will will still be eager to head for Paris with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), but this missing birth certificate thing is going to unlock some doors to the past and unearth some buried secrets.

The past will also come back to bite Tracy – though it’ll mainly be Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) history that causes all the chaos.

Some party crashers will arrive looking for Tracy in connection to something that happened with Luke.

It sounds like some of Luke’s old crimes could be a factor here, so Tracy might be taken into custody or have to plot an escape.

General Hospital spoilers say this vow renewal will end with a bang, so Tracy will have another round of drama to worry about.
