The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, February 4, reveals that Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) overnight stay riled Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) – and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) learned Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) cheated. Here’s how all Friday’s B&B action played out.
At the cliff house, Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) insisted that technically he wasn’t hacking as an authorized user.
Steffy felt it didn’t matter whether Charlie was authorized or not. She argued that they needed Charlie to access the footage and get proof of Brooke’s kiss with Deacon.
Charlie got the IP address and put in the password, which was “lemon bars.” He said he was in and immediately started looking to see how far back the videos were saved.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) pointed out that they needed to know if Deacon came back that night – and after some digging, Charlie proved that Deacon did.
Steffy marveled over seeing the footage of Deacon right in front of her. “Gotcha, Brooke,” Steffy said angrily.
Charlie also found footage of Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) on the patio, but he guessed the cameras must’ve missed Deacon leaving.
Charlie didn’t have footage of Deacon again until the next morning, so it clicked into place for Steffy and Thomas that Deacon spent the night.
Thomas and Steffy were disgusted over that news, and they wanted copies of the footage.
Charlie assumed this wouldn’t end well for Brooke, so Steffy confirmed that it wouldn’t. However, Steffy felt confident it would end well for Ridge.
At the cabin, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) once again told Brooke that her secret was safe.
Hope saw no reason anyone should find out, but Brooke remained concerned – especially with Taylor back and waiting on the sidelines.
Brooke ranted about Thomas and Steffy egging their parents on.
Brooke didn’t think Steffy and Thomas would care if her marriage fell apart as long as Taylor got another chance with Ridge.
Hope calmed Brooke down again by suggesting she shouldn’t get caught up in all the what-ifs.
Hope urged Brooke to believe that no one else was going to find out.
In Taylor’s office, Ridge sent her some pics of the grandkids from his phone.
Taylor was happy to see Ridge smiling again, especially since he’d been going through something with Brooke.
Ridge downplayed the problems in his marriage, but Taylor gushed over what a loving and committed husband he was.
Whatever was going on, Taylor felt that Brooke was “damn lucky” to have Ridge.
Taylor knew Ridge was a wonderful husband from experience and thought it was beautiful the way Ridge was there for Brooke.
Taylor just hoped Brooke was always deserving of that.
Back at home, Brooke was spinning out alone and crying over flashbacks of New Year’s Eve.
Ridge returned and talked about how much he missed seeing Brooke happy. He wondered how he could help Brooke get past that night, which wasn’t her fault.
Brooke wanted to believe that was true, but she admitted she was scared.
Ridge assured Brooke that he wasn’t afraid and added that nothing would come between them. He pushed Brooke to believe that and gave her a kiss.
At the cliff house again, Taylor showed up after being summoned and wondered what was going on.
Steffy kept talking about their family being back together, so Taylor warned Steffy and Thomas not to get caught up in wishful thinking.
Taylor argued that Ridge was married to Brooke and that his life was with her and the Logans.
Taylor felt it was important to accept that and move on, but Steffy suggested they didn’t have to.
Thomas backed Steffy up about something being very wrong. Steffy said she’d never wish the end of Ridge’s marriage, but she couldn’t stay silent about what they knew.
When Steffy finally blurted out that Brooke cheated on Ridge, Taylor was stunned.
Steffy confirmed that it was with Deacon and left Taylor absolutely reeling.
At Forrester Creations, Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) warned Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) that it was a bad idea to keep things loose with Paris Buckingham (Diamond White).
Zende wondered what Grace meant, but they were interrupted by Sequoyah (Shireen Crutchfield) the model.
Sequoyah just wanted to make sure she was still on for tonight with Zende – her treat this time.
After Sequoyah left, Grace admitted she didn’t understand what Zende and Paris were doing.
Zende argued that it wasn’t a crime for Paris not to settle down yet, especially at her age. Besides, Zende said he was the one seeing other people, not Paris.
At Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) loft, Paris asked why Carter was being so mysterious.
Carter noted that everything about their feelings was a bit of a mystery. They’d been keeping a secret from everyone, but Carter said it was time for that to change.
Paris wasn’t opposed to the idea, but she said they didn’t know if there was a future here. Carter admitted he could see one – that it’d be complicated, but it would be worth it.
Paris agreed she could envision a future with Carter, but she wondered what was inspiring all of this.
Carter didn’t want to hide like he did with Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer).
Paris understood that and thought Zende would too, but Carter countered that Zende wouldn’t.
In fact, Carter insisted that nobody would ever know about his romance with Paris.
Paris protested that Zende would explain to his family that no cheating was going on.
Carter countered that Zende could give Paris the best and everything that being a Forrester meant.
Paris didn’t care about that and thought something was happening with Carter that she’d never felt before.
Paris said they owed it to themselves to figure out what they could have.
Paris didn’t want to let Carter go, but Carter argued this was the way it had to be.
That left Paris staring at Carter in a close, intense moment.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Paris won’t let Carter just throw their romance away, so there’ll be more temptation soon enough.
