The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, February 8, teases that Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) will need a bone marrow procedure – and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will battle an insomnia problem. Let’s talk about what’s coming up on Tuesday’s shocking Y&R episode.
At home, Billy will have a hard time getting his day going due to insomnia and lack of coffee.
Billy will end up heading to Crimson Lights, where he’ll interrupt Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) attempt to quiz Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Since Billy will seem so tired, he’ll end up explaining his insomnia struggles. Billy will admit he keeps waiting up in the middle of the night and not being able to turn his mind off.
Jack will suspect Billy has some subconscious issues he still needs to confront, so Amanda will seem to agree.
At the Chancellor mansion, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will fret over Dominic following his pediatrician visit.
Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will assure Abby that he’s not going back to the force today and will stay right by her side.
At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, he’ll talk to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) about her latest pitch.
Lily will want Chancellor Industries and Hamilton-Winters to team up for a joint venture, but Chance’s call will interrupt.
Once Devon learns Dominis had to go to the pediatrician, he’ll cut his conversation with Lily short and rush right over.
Meanwhile, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will tell Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) about Chance’s text.
Rey will explain that Chance isn’t starting work today, so Sharon will wonder if she should reach out to Abby or perhaps tell Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).
Rey will think it’s best if Chance and Abby handle this on their own. However, Rey will promise to give Sharon updates once he gets them.
Back at the Chancellor mansion, Devon will learn more about Dominic’s symptoms and what the doctor said.
Chance will explain that Dominic’s physical tests were pretty normal, but Dr. Bradley wanted to run some blood tests to be sure.
Abby will worry Dominic might be anemic based on her online research. She’ll start spinning out and worry this is her fault, but Devon will insist Abby hasn’t done anything wrong.
Abby will act like Devon is accusing her of overreacting, but Chance will comfort his wife and insist they’re all on edge. He’ll try to get Abby to calm down and just wait for the lab results.
Later, Dr. Bradley will call to reveal that Dominic’s red blood cell count is low – much lower than she’s comfortable with.
Abby will tell Chance and Devon that Dr. Bradley wants to do a bone marrow aspiration, so Devon will think that sounds really severe.
Abby will add that Dominic needs to go back to the doctor as soon as possible for more tests, so she’ll look worried along with Devon and Chance.
As for Billy, he’ll return home and talk to Lily about his sleeping issues. Lily will feel like Billy needs specifics when it comes to his role as COO.
Lily will suggest Billy should take the lead on this new venture between Chancellor Industries and Hamilton-Winters, so Billy will wonder about the details.
Lily will explain how she wants to pair Devon’s streaming service with their entertainment division.
Lily will hope to create educational and inspirational podcasts, so Billy will realize they’re doing their version of a TED Talk.
Billy will like the idea and think it’s the perfect solution for his restlessness. He’ll make love to Lily and look forward to a new project that he can sink his teeth into.
At Society, Jack will share a meal with Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), who’ll grumble about Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) trip to South America for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Jack will think that’s “classic Mustache” and listen to Lauren’s complaints about Michael’s new job.
Lauren will also grill Jack about Phyllis and what he hopes she’ll decide while she’s in Milan.
Lauren wonder what Jack is looking for once this imminent dinner happens, but Jack will act like dinner with Phyllis will simply be dinner.
Lauren will prove relentless with her questioning, so Jack will insist he’s not going to chase love down.
Jack’s want to let it come to him – and if it doesn’t, then he’ll insist he already has an amazing life with no complaints at all.
Once Lauren leaves, Jack will sit alone and think about getting in touch with Phyllis over the phone.
Jack will hover over Phyllis’ contact info, but he’ll ultimately decide against calling or texting.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack and Phyllis will need to be honest about their feelings if they want a real future together, so stay tuned!
