The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will spy on Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). It looks like Adam will get sneaky to win back his father’s approval, so there’ll be a lot riding on his latest mission.
Of course, Victor already has Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) hard at work in Peru.
Michael took a trip to the clinic Ashland is funding in hopes of learning more secrets.
Y&R fans can expect Michael to come home with some major shockers eventually, but Victor will face a waiting game until then.
However, Victor isn’t the kind of guy who likes to waste time. He finds this whole Ashland situation quite disturbing and will want to stay on top of it.
As luck would have it, Adam is suddenly in a position to spy on Ashland.
Ashland and Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) intend to keep a close eye on Adam now that he’s part of the Newman-Locke team.
It turns out Adam will end up keeping a close eye on Ashland instead!
During the week of February 14-18, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will turn to Adam for help gathering info about Ashland and his troubling agenda.
Adam may be a little miffed about Victor only coming to him when he needs something, but he’ll probably agree to spy for his dad anyway.
Since Adam doesn’t trust Ashland either, this could help him find common ground with Victor again.
Adam can round up some intel and hopefully make progress when it comes to getting back in good standing with his father.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) may warn Adam to be careful considering how their last spying fiasco went.
Being careful is indeed something Adam needs to do, but this is also a different situation.
It’s not like Adam’s going to don a disguise and lurk in some seedy dive bar!
Adam can just keep his eyes and ears open for Victor on the job.
Perhaps Adam can even approach Ashland for a fishing expedition without raising too many red flags.
Regardless, Adam will probably do what he’s told and report back to Victor with anything shady.
Although Adam may not score any firm proof, he’ll likely agree with Victor when it comes to the fact that Ashland’s keeping secrets.
It’ll be Michael who returns to Genoa City and blows things up later, so he may reveal that Ashland was never truly sick at all!
