The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, February 11, tease that Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) confession will stun Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) while Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) gets a surprise. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also focus on his priority, so let’s talk about what’s ahead in Genoa City.
Valentine’s Day is almost upon us, which means Genoa City will be celebrating, too.
Some of Y&R’s romantic scenes will kick off a little early – though other couples will be featured once the actual holiday arrives.
For now, Victor will prove he’s got more on his mind than just business.
Victor make Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) his priority for a while, so he’ll romance his wife and put his Ashland worries on hold.
Of course, it won’t be long until Victor seeks more updates from Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), but he’ll want to dote on Nikki in the meantime.
Nikki will certainly appreciate having Victor’s undivided attention and will still get swept up in their love for each other after all these years.
As for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), he tends to be full of romantic surprises as well.
Billy will indeed have a surprise for Lily, so we’ll see if that involves a grand gesture or at least some way to show his love.
Regardless, Billy will still have some buried issues to work through.
Billy’s not sure what’s causing his restlessness and insomnia, but there’s obviously some hidden truth – just waiting to come out.
Billy will have to nail down what that is at some point in the coming weeks. Until then, let’s talk about Ashland and a decision he’s about to make.
Ashland is no doubt concerned after his latest chat with Victor, who quizzed him about the Peruvian clinic.
Now that Ashland has admitted he was a benefactor long before he got sick, he’ll surely want to tell Victoria himself.
Ashland may think he’d better go ahead and put his spin on the story before Victor spills.
Secrets have already been a real problem for Ashland and Victoria, so he’ll have to confess this carefully.
However, Ashland has a knack for smoothing things over with Victoria.
Victoria always gives Ashland a pass and buys his excuses, so that should be the case once again.
The fact that Valentine’s Day is coming up may work in Ashland’s favor since he can distract Victoria with romance.
Unfortunately, Ashland has even more secrets – and Victoria is poised to learn his worst ones yet sooner or later!
Since it looks like Ashland was never seriously ill, Victoria should face that shocker along with her husband’s ulterior marriage motives down the road.
