General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, February 16, reveals that Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) confessed she wasn’t Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) biological mother – and “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) cried for her fake mom, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
At the Metro Court, Willow worried that maybe Harmony was hiding something about her birth.
Willow feared Harmony had been lying this whole time and tried to call her, but Harmony didn’t pick up.
This wasn’t even about the passport anymore since Willow was disturbed over Harmony keeping secrets.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) assured Willow that they would get to the bottom of it and gave her a hug before she headed to the hospital.
Moments later, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) appeared and wondered if Michael had seen Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).
Sonny insisted he had to find Carly before she did something they would both regret.
Sonny hinted about the divorce and ultimately admitted Carly caught him with Nina.
Michael was furious when he realized Sonny slept with the woman who basically held him hostage, but Sonny snapped for Michael to watch it.
Sonny was still Michael’s father and felt he deserved respect.
Michael suggested Carly was justified in filing for divorce since Sonny clearly chose Nina.
However, Sonny disagreed and dashed off to find Carly in her suite.
At GH, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) took Louise in her arms.
Felicia thanked Brooke Lynn and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) for taking good care of Louise, but Brook Lynn suggested they should give her some time with that name since she was used to being called “Bailey.”
Felicia could tell Louise was a smart cookie “just like Mama” and got some tips from a visibly heartbroken Brook Lynn.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) watched nearby while Felicia assured Brook Lynn and Chase that they could visit anytime.
After Brook Lynn excused herself and rushed off, Nina and Chase went after her.
They found Brook Lynn frantically trying to board the elevator, but she acted like everything was fine when it clearly wasn’t.
Chase took the lead on comforting Brook Lynn and left with her, so Nina turned around to find Willow.
Nina immediately feared something might be wrong with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver), but Willow insisted she was there for her nursing class.
Before Willow went to class, Nina wanted to talk about Wiley.
If there was no chance of peace with Carly, Nina wondered if she would ever see her grandson again. She pointed out that she didn’t have much family or children to speak of.
Willow sat down with Nina and opened up about not trusting Harmony.
Willow reflected on her difficult upbringing and how Harmony was mostly concerned about her being a good follower.
Nina understood since her own mother used to trot her out at parties like a show dog, but she didn’t really know her daughter as a person.
Willow wished she’d had a better example to look to as a mom, but Nina insisted Willow was already a wonderful mom to Wiley.
As far as Nina was concerned, Willow was the ideal example.
At The Invader, Harmony admitted she wasn’t Willow’s true mother.
Harmony explained to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that while on the commune in Colorado, a pregnant woman named Joan gave birth to a baby and abandoned her there.
Josiah, who was the leader at “Friends of Peace and Love,” told Harmony and Douglas Miller that God wanted them to raise Willow as their own – at least according to Harmony’s latest story.
Harmony added that when Willow was two years old, they couldn’t stand the thought of losing her.
They decided to leave the commune as well as Colorado altogether.
Harmony said Douglas paid the forger for the birth certificate, so Willow was theirs – though Alexis pointed out that wasn’t the case in the eyes of the law.
That said, Alexis understood Harmony’s circumstances and felt she had nurtured an abandoned baby.
Alexis didn’t think Harmony was awful and suggested they could use the fact that Douglas was the one who met with the forger.
Harmony seemed hopeful that Willow didn’t have to know, but Alexis countered that she didn’t say that.
Alexis thought they were way beyond the birth certificate stuff now and encouraged Harmony to come clean to Willow.
Harmony worried Willow wouldn’t forgive her this time, but Alexis felt her friend should do what’s best for Willow and tell the truth.
At home, Brook Lynn assumed Chase would be leaving soon. Chase didn’t get why he’d leave, but Brook Lynn acted like living together was always about “Bailey.”
When Brook Lynn spotted the baby’s favorite toy and realized it had been left behind, she flew into a panic.
Chase insisted they could just call Felicia, but Brook Lynn cried in his arms and wasn’t sure how she was supposed to do any of this.
Although Brook Lynn always knew “Bailey” would go back to her real mom, Chase said Brook Lynn was her mom in every way that counted.
Chase knew it was hard to say goodbye to someone you loved and implied Brook Lynn didn’t have to say goodbye to him.
Once Mac Scorpio (John J. York) gushed over Louise, he returned to his hospital bed.
Unfortunately, the baby got fussy in her stroller and wouldn’t stop crying. Felicia felt the problem was that they were strangers.
Felicia said Louise needed her mother, so Mac suggested the closest thing to it instead.
Soon after, the doorbell interrupted Chase and Brook Lynn right as they were about to kiss.
Felicia brought Louise back to the people most familiar to her until Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) came home.
Brook Lynn and Chase were overjoyed to reunite with “Bailey,” so they shared a sweet family scene together.
In Carly’s suite, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) wanted to make sure Carly had someone to lean on, especially now that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was gone.
After Josslyn recapped the cabin drama, she found out Carly wasn’t coming home anytime soon.
Carly declared that her marriage was over, so Josslyn grilled her mom until she figured out Carly saw Sonny and Nina in bed.
Joss thought Nina was a monster who was out to get their family and didn’t understand how Sonny could do that to Carly.
After Michael texted Carly to give her a heads-up, Sonny arrived at Carly’s hotel room door.
Since Sonny wanted to talk to Carly, Josslyn glared at her stepdad and left.
Carly wondered why Sonny was there, so he said he wanted to stop her from making a big mistake.
Sonny brought up the divorce attorney, so Carly asked if he was spying on her.
After Sonny explained the calendar blunder, he urged Carly to call off her divorce attorney and talk things out.
Nevertheless, Carly refused and made it crystal clear that their marriage was done.
Sonny agreed to leave Carly alone for now and stepped outside the room. He looked back at Carly, but she shut the door in his face.
Both Carly and Sonny seemed upset as the show offered a split screen of their heartbreak.
Next, Josslyn met up with Michael and felt that Nina wanted to destroy their family.
Josslyn added that Nina wanted to take Carly away from Sonny and insisted Nina wouldn’t stop until she achieved her goals.
At Kelly’s, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) told Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) he understood about their delayed Valentine’s Day plans.
Talk turned to the idea of Curtis giving Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) his old place and finding a new one. Curtis admitted he wanted Portia to live there, too.
Portia suggested they could find a place they both liked, so Curtis asked if that was a yes on living together.
Portia replied that it was a definite yes and kissed Curtis to celebrate their decision.
General Hospital spoilers say Curtis and Portia may be on cloud nine right now, but some storms are about to roll in!
