General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, February 17, teases that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will set a mind control trap while Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) makes a deadly vow. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will also have a bad dream, so there’ll be some shockers and shakeups happening on Thursday’s exciting episode.
At GH, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will use work to distract herself from all the strange Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) happenings.
Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) won’t want Liz exhausting herself on the job, so he’ll hope he can help her figure out a better solution.
Of course, Liz can’t truly rest until she nails down what’s going on.
Liz will take steps to determine who’s behind the creepy incidents in the coming episodes, but she won’t be able to solve the puzzle just yet.
In the meantime, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will spot Sasha Gilmore (Helena Mattsson) at the Metro Court and push her to finally talk.
Brando tried to give Sasha space and respect her wishes, but he’ll wonder if there’s still a chance for a relationship here.
Sasha doesn’t want to grieve in the same way as Brando and has been doing her own thing.
Sasha faced the same devastating loss of Liam Corbin, but she doesn’t like all the pressure and may end up snapping at Brando as a result.
Sasha and Brando are nearing a crossroads in their relationship, so things may not turn out the way Brando wants – at least not right now.
On the road to Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) planned hideout, Maxie may finally drift off to sleep.
Unfortunately, that sleep won’t be peaceful since Maxie was forced to go on the run with an obsessed psycho.
Maxie will get spooked over a terrible dream, but she’ll wake up to the reminder that she’s truly living a nightmare.
Maxie will have to work hard to placate Peter, who’ll plan to take them somewhere totally off the grid and impossible to find.
However, Victor wants to locate Peter and end all this permanently.
That may even be the first job Victor has in mind for reactivated Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Victor might consider it a wonderful twist of fate if he uses the info Peter provided to activate Drew again and send him to kill Peter.
The problem is Victor has no way of knowing if Peter told him the truth – not until he lures Drew into his trap and gives the activation key a test run.
Naturally, Peter could’ve told Victor the wrong tarot card or lied about another method.
It’d be pretty funny if Victor whipped out a baseball card and said some magic word instead of the official activation phrase, which is “You’re active.”
Drew won’t look too concerned when Victor corners him on the pier and goes into his pocket for something.
It looks like Victor will at least try to activate Peter, so there’s the potential for it to work – that is if Peter actually told the truth for once.
Nevertheless, we should mention that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will have her own pier meeting with Drew.
Sam could spy this encounter with Victor and possibly put a stop to it, so that’s another option to keep in mind.
Back at the hospital, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will speak to Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) and suggest she doesn’t know if that’s a compliment or a threat.
That could relate to something Austin says or maybe it’ll tie in with something Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) says to Austin instead.
Regardless, Obrecht will once again drag Austin off for more scheming.
They’ll put the next phase of their plot in motion, so that could involve tracking Victor’s henchman and hoping it leads to Maxie’s location.
Liesl and Austin will certainly want to do whatever they can to take Peter down, save Maxie and bring her home to her daughter in Port Charles.
After Anna, Laura and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) meet up, Maxie’s mom will battle tears and fear the worst.
Felicia will desperately want to reunite Maxie and Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt), but she’ll grow more and more worried as each hour passes.
General Hospital spoilers say Anna won’t give up on a successful search for Maxie.
Anna will promise to do whatever it takes to bring Maxie back home – and that includes killing Peter based on other comments Anna’s made.
GH fans can expect some bombs to drop as Peter’s storyline enters closes in on its final chapter.
