Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview for the week of February 28-March 4 teases that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will expose Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) bedroom betrayal and leave Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) heartbroken over the cheating.
Since Tripp is certain he wants to build a life with Allie, he’ll move forward with his marriage proposal plans.
Tripp will romance Allie and give her a beautiful night to remember, so she’ll push any reservations aside.
Allie won’t want to wreck their relationship by confessing what happened with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), so she’ll bury the secret and happily accept Tripp’s ring.
Days spoilers say Tripp and Allie will make their engagement official – but not for long!
That’s because Johnny will come along to derail this DOOL celebration.
Chanel, Tripp and Allie will all be on hand as Johnny reveals the cheating bombshell.
Johnny will insist Allie slept with his wife and will explain how he overheard her discussing the betrayal with Chanel.
Johnny will spill how Allie stripped down to comfort Chanel in bed after that disastrous wedding reception.
Chanel will try to act like Johnny’s making all this up, but Allie’s reaction will let Tripp know there’s more to the story.
When Tripp confronts Allie in private, she’ll break down in tears and admit Johnny told the truth.
Of course, Allie will argue that it was a one-time thing – just a mistake that will never happen again. She’ll tell Tripp that she loves him so much and will urge him to believe in their future together.
Unfortunately, Tripp won’t buy the idea that Allie was merely consoling Chanel in her time of need.
Tripp will feel like deep down, Chanel is the one Allie wants to be with.
As a result, Tripp will ask for his engagement ring back and call the whole thing off.
Allie will no doubt sob as she hands the ring over and wishes things had turned out differently.
When Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) get updates on all the drama, Days spoilers say they’ll try to score Allie another chance.
After Roman gives Tripp a nudge toward forgiveness, Kate will also hope Tripp can find it in his heart to forgive Allie.
Sadly, it may not be that simple for crushed Tripp.
Allie will still need Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) comfort during the week of March 7-11, so she obviously won’t get some instant fix.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Tripp and Allie might find their way back to each other eventually, but there’ll be plenty of challenges in the meantime.
