Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, February 28, reveals that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) made an SOS call to Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) while Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) made a scandalous reveal. Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) stunning arrival also caused drama, so here’s how all Monday’s Days action played out.
At the DiMera mansion, Johnny tried to convince Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) to sleep with him, but she headed out in a hurry.
That left Johnny wondering what a “horny” devil was supposed to do now that he was alone on Valentine’s Day.
Next, Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) paid Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) a visit and realized she never summoned him to the Kiriakis mansion.
Maggie admitted to losing her phone, so Jake suspected maybe Johnny stole it and pulled a trick.
When Jake brought up his suspicions to Gabi, she suggested that would’ve been an awfully elaborate scheme.
Gabi noted that the alternative was Jake had been lying, but she quickly backed off that idea.
Jake tried to get Gabi in bed for lovemaking, but she shut him down since she wanted to look up info on Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) case.
Gabi found out Rafe’s first day in court didn’t go well, especially since Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) had been accused of witness tampering.
Jake grew frustrated over Gabi making excuses to push him away. He worried since this seemed personal, but Gabi acted like she had to deal with this Rafe situation and took off. At the police station, Gabi flashed back to Jake being all romantic earlier and was clearly upset.
At the restaurant, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) brought Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) a rose and wished her a happy Valentine’s Day.
That left Chloe a bit uncomfortable since this wasn’t a date, but Brady pointed out that he bought the rose from a kid outside who was raising money for the school band.
Chloe ultimately reminisced with Brady about their past Valentine Day celebrations, so that brought a close moment of connection.
Meanwhile, Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) stumbled across Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) as he was preparing a romantic setup for Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold).
Tripp admitted he was going to propose to his girlfriend, so Craig reflected on when he proposed to Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo).
Craig then admitted that he was in the process of getting a divorce and hinted about the complications of introducing his new boyfriend.
Craig was apologetic about confessing all this, but Tripp was understanding and willing to listen.
Before Craig left, he suggested that Tripp’s nervousness about the proposal meant it was worth doing.
As for Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), she let Allie know she would support her no matter what she decided her proposal answer would be.
After Allie met up with Tripp for a picnic under the stars, Tripp decided he couldn’t wait any longer.
Tripp dropped to one knee and asked Allie to marry him, so she said yes and celebrated their new engagement with a kiss.
Back with Johnny on Monday’s DOOL episode, he found Chanel in the town square and suggested the fun didn’t have to stop because they were getting a divorce.
Johnny thought they could still hook up and acted like the lawyers were the only ones who’d be getting rich anyway.
Chanel decided they could at least talk about the divorce – though she wanted to do it somewhere private and refused to go back to the DiMera mansion.
That led to Chanel and Johnny finding Tripp with Allie at their picnic table.
After learning Allie accepted Tripp’s proposal, Chanel had some supportive words.
Allie thought Johnny should congratulate his twin sister, but he ended up revealing that Chanel and Allie slept together instead!
At home, Ben and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) debated whether Johnny could be possessed.
Ben left Susan a voicemail in hopes that she could help them figure out for sure. He also promised to protect Ciara and their unborn child no matter what.
At the restaurant again on Monday’s Days episode, Craig arrived and found out Brady was there to put Chloe at ease.
Craig’s boyfriend was running late, but he was excited for Chloe to meet him.
When Leo Stark walked in, Brady called him by name. Craig was surprised and wondered how Brady knew as he embraced Leo.
That left Chloe and Brady in shock over Leo being Craig’s mystery man.
