The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, March 7, teases that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will make a statement of paternity discovery while Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) sees his big chance at power. Here’s what viewers can look forward to as Monday’s action heats up.
In Los Angeles, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will convince Jack to keep searching for answers.
After Jack looks at the photo he found again, he’ll realize Keemo Nguyen’s (Philip Moon) half-sister, Mai, is pictured – though he won’t recognize the other women.
Jack will get frustrated over not knowing much about Keemo’s life and will feel like he’s invading his son’s privacy.
However, Phyllis won’t think it matters now that Keemo is gone and will remind Jack that someone wanted him to find this keepsake box.
That box will also contain jewelry that Jack gave Luan Volien (Elizabeth Sung) for Christmas many years ago.
Jack will have heartwarming flashbacks as he finds that along with an old wedding photo.
The fact that Keemo kept these items will let Jack know just how conflicted his son was.
Jack will be surprised to find the statement of paternity he had drawn up for Keemo at one point.
Phyllis will help see that it must’ve mattered to Keemo, so Jack will seem to take comfort in all this.
Although Jack will fret over perhaps not trying hard enough to bond with Keemo, Phyllis will get him talking about the mysterious texts again.
They’ll wonder if someone from the photo they found might be responsible for sending the messages Jack’s way.
Back in Genoa City, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will interrupt Adam and Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) discussion about Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).
In a moment alone, Victor will be glad to hear Adam kept Sally out of the loop on Ashland’s fake cancer.
Victor will eventually be notified about the disappearance of Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc).
There won’t be any sign of Michael at his hotel – and the two doctors who were part of the investigation will have gone missing, too.
Adam will suspect might’ve taken action against Michael and the doctors as part of his own plan.
Y&R fans will see Ashland carry out the rest of that plan in Victoria Newman-Locke’s (Amelia Heinle) office.
That’s where Victoria will be horrified over Ashland’s news regarding the bogus cancer allegations.
Ashland will act like Victor’s taking the word of a lying fired doctor who clearly has a grudge against him.
Victoria will find out Victor accused Ashland of faking being sick and never needing treatment.
Victoria will hear about the falsified medical info claims as well as Victor’s attempt to drive Ashland out of her life.
Ashland will assure Victoria that these accusations are outrageous and unfounded.
Ashland will acknowledge that the “Locke-ness” monster is gone because of Victoria, so she’ll struggle to wrap her head around Victor turning on her husband like this.
Victoria will make it clear that she believes Ashland while Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) frets over Michael going MIA.
Lauren will get reassurance from Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) during a business meeting while Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is out of town.
However, Adam will arrive and add to Lauren’s worries since he won’t seem to know anything about Michael.
Lauren will give Victor a call, but she won’t be satisfied over his attempt to gloss over the whole Michael situation either.
Sally and Chloe will talk in private at one point, so they’ll basically suggest their Newman Fashion fun was nice while it lasted.
They had a solid partnership before Chelsea joined the team and drama erupted, but everyone landed on their feet elsewhere.
Sally will assure Chloe that she has no intention of giving up on her dreams – and she’ll look at Adam like he’s indeed one of those dreams.
Once Adam joins Sally at a table, he’ll keep quiet about the exact details of the Ashland crisis.
Nevertheless, Adam will admit that the fallout may not be negative – at least not for him.
Adam will suggest that some changes could be brewing at Newman-Locke if Victor misjudged the situation and causes conflict with Victoria.
The outcome could turn out to be a favorable one on Adam’s end, so he’ll seem intrigued by the idea of climbing to the top!
Finally, Ashland will take a call from Victor and admit he’s been expecting it. After Victor rants about Ashland stalling, he’ll deliver another ultimatum.
Ashland will be given one hour to follow orders or else Victor will plan to tell Victoria the whole truth.
Once Ashland invites Victor to go right ahead, he’ll reveal he has no intention of leaving Genoa City or Victoria’s life.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashland and Victor will keep plotting against each other, but we have no doubt that Victor will emerge victorious in the end!
