The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of March 14-18 teases that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will react to a shocking texter while Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) threatens Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will also make a bold move, so let’s talk about what Y&R has coming up to finish out the week.
For starters, Jill will get on a video chat with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and apply some pressure.
Jill thinks Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) idea to merge companies is brilliant, so she’ll hope she can talk Devon into getting on board.
“Why the hell are you throwing away the chance of a lifetime?” Jill asks in the weekly preview clip.
Devon smiles in response, so it looks like Jill will make progress when it comes to this merger between Hamilton-Winters and Chancellor Industries.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will make progress as well when he gets Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) to admit she’s having doubts about Ashland.
Victoria won’t know what to believe since she wants to believe her husband, but the mountain of evidence keeps growing.
Of course, Ashland will be busy trying to put out his latest fire.
After Nate presents even more evidence that Ashland’s cancer is a lie, Ashland will warn that he could have Nate’s medical license revoked.
When Nate doesn’t seem to care, Ashland will turn more menacing. He’ll make it clear that Nate had better think long and hard before he does anything rash.
Nate will ask if Ashland’s threatening him, but Ashland may view it more as a promise that he’ll protect his marriage at any cost!
However, the walls are closing in on Ashland, so he’ll need to make some risky decisions as this storyline moves along.
Once Jack returns home with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), he’ll get another text on his phone.
Phyllis will ask if that’s the texter and urge Jack not to keep her in suspense.
Will the texter send a message to wrap up the mystery and hope Jack got the closure he needed?
Could there be a hint or even a confession regarding this texter’s identity?
Phyllis has offered to dig deeper and certainly doesn’t want to let this go. She may not be able to help herself, even if Jack’s ready to move on.
Naturally, it’s also possible Jack will get a message from a different texter – though it’d be equally shocking!
Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) might change her mind about forming a real bond and reach out with a desire to visit her family in Genoa City.
Whatever the case, some exciting scenes are on the way.
Due to March Madness, Y&R will be preempted on Thursday, March 17 and Friday, March 18. That means the last new episode for the week will air on Wednesday, March 16.
There’s a chance some of the preview video drama will spill over into the week of March 21-25, so keep that in mind.
