Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will turn to Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) for help with Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) memory restoration. Xander will want to take Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) to this meeting with her old ally, so here’s what DOOL fans can expect.
During the week of March 21-25, Xander will disappoint Gwen by admitting he can’t commit to marrying her right now.
Their wedding plans will be derailed by Sarah’s return since all Xander can think about is her recovery.
Of course, there’s a lot riding on whether Sarah can be cured of her bizarre identity crisis.
Gwen will no doubt hope that Sarah remains crazy Renee DuMonde (Philece Sampler) in her own mind.
That way, Sarah will continue to hate Xander and want to marry only Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis).
However, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will eventually come up with a desperate strategy that could perhaps restore Sarah’s memory.
When conventional methods fail in Salem, Dr. Rolf tends to be there waiting with a little twisted DiMera magic.
Days spoilers say Abigail will bring the suggestion to Xander and contend that Dr. Rolf may be Sarah’s best hope.
It’ll be worth a shot as far as Xander’s concerned, so he’ll indeed plan to pay Dr. Rolf a visit and ask for help.
Since Xander is trying to be honest about this whole process, he’ll give Gwen the latest news.
Xander will wonder if Gwen’s willing to attend this meeting with him, which will put Gwen in an awkward position.
Nevertheless, it should be crucial for Gwen to go and perhaps score a moment alone with Dr. Rolf.
Days viewers will recall that Gwen and Dr. Rolf had a complicated alliance, but they’ve certainly been known to do big favors for each other.
Dr. Rolf’s relationship with Gwen is very transactional, so he might be willing to act like there’s nothing he can do for Sarah – even if there actually is.
In return, Dr. Rolf may expect yet another favor from Gwen and leave her with a mess.
Whatever the case, Gwen will no doubt try to use her previous partnership with Dr. Rolf to her advantage.
