The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, March 21, teases that a shadowy figure will spy on Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) – and Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) mysterious texter will vow to help. Let’s discuss all the Y&R drama happening in Monday’s exciting show.
First, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will record a podcast about the benefits of meditation and will open up about heading down the wrong path after the death of his daughter.
Billy will ultimately explain how love saved him and will hope that his listeners can gain something from his story.
At The Grand Phoenix, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will hint about wanting to dig deeper into who’s sending the texts, but Jack will be too overwhelmed to even think about that right now.
However, Jack will be grateful to Phyllis for accompanying him on this trip and being his rock.
Afterward, Phyllis will sit down with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), who’ll fish to find out if perhaps the trip turned romantic.
Phyllis will insist the idea of a renewed romance is a nonstarter, but she’ll admit her relationship with Jack has reached another level.
At the Abbott mansion, Jack will get a text that says he left too soon and that he should’ve given Allie more time.
Jack will also read Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) one of Keemo Nguyen’s (Philip Moon) letters and get choked up over his son still loving his father.
Jack will confess that there’s more and will shock Traci with the news that he has a granddaughter.
Jack will show off Allie’s picture and talk about meeting her, but he’ll admit it’s going to take time for Allie to come around.
Jack will suggest he sees someone who’s alone, afraid and sad when he looks in Allie’s eyes.
Jack will want Allie to know that the door is always open and will refuse to give up on bonding with her.
At Keemo’s house, Allie will wish her dad would send her a sign and will confess to being confused.
Allie won’t think she has anyone to talk to now and will wonder if Jack can be trusted.
Allie won’t want to disgrace Keemo’s memory by doing something he wouldn’t approve of.
Allie will note that Keemo cut Jack out of his life and will consider that perhaps she should do the same.
After Jack goes for a drive, he’ll end up back at The Grand Phoenix. Jack will get another message from the mystery texter, who’ll urge Jack not to lose hope.
“Let me see what I can do,” the texter will insist – leaving Jack taken aback as he shows the text to Phyllis.
Back at Keemo’s darkened house, Allie will sleep on the sofa while a shadowy figure lurks. When Allie jolts awake, she’ll look around and ask if someone’s there.
After Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) gives Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) a push through a video call, he’ll summon Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) to discuss the merger.
Lily will assure Devon that no amount of corporate friction could ever sever their bond.
In fact, Lily will argue that she’d step down as CEO if this ever put their relationship on the line.
Devon will decide he’s willing to make the same promise and will ultimately suggest they should give this merger a shot.
That’ll leave Lily overjoyed as she heads back home and updates Billy on the merger moving forward.
Lily will think that the clencher for Devon was knowing that business would never come between them.
Lily will feel confident that her relationship with Devon is unbreakable.
Billy will admit he had a podcast breakthrough of his own and will enjoy some romantic time with Lily on the sofa.
Meanwhile, Devon will bring Amanda up to speed on his merger decision and get her excited about it.
The episode will wrap up with Traci listening to Billy’s podcast, which will talk about how he’s a big believer in second chances – and even third, fourth and fifth chances.
Billy will hint about how they can come to you when you least expect it.
