Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, March 23, tease that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Clyde Weston (James Read) will have a surprise reunion after Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) get a special job. Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will also mastermind a secret mission, so here’s what Days viewers can look forward to.
For starters, Chanel and Allie will enjoy their new couple status in the town square.
They’ll be sharing a kiss when Ben and Ciara spot them nearby, so that should lead to Allie and Chanel admitting they’re an item.
Ciara feels bad for Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams), but she also wants Allie to be happy. She’ll no doubt wish Allie well in her new relationship and hope it all works out.
Days spoilers say Ciara and Ben will also have a favor to ask.
Since Ciara hinted about an idea regarding the baby’s gender, she’ll probably want Chanel and Allie to make a gender reveal cake – with blue or pink inside to unveil the surprise.
However, a different surprise is brewing after Ben returns home with Ciara.
Before we get to that, we should talk about Clyde and EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) showdown at Statesville.
EJ just remembered that Clyde was behind his “death” and unleashed his fury, but Clyde won’t have any sympathy on Wednesday’s DOOL episode.
Although EJ will threaten to sabotage Clyde’s parole hearing, Clyde will convince him to zip it or perhaps risk a more permanent murder.
That means Clyde will be a free man once his afternoon parole hearing goes according to plan.
It won’t be long until Clyde shows up on Ben and Ciara’s doorstep, so that’s sure to bring a rather awkward and somewhat unnerving visit.
In the meantime, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will continue to reassure Belle Brady (Martha Madison) that none of what happened is her fault.
Belle will wonder what other terrible things she did while under the devil’s control, but Kate will hope to use that to Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) advantage.
Chad will get on board with the plan to plant evidence on Belle’s laptop.
Kate feels like it’s the best way for Chad to avoid perjury charges, so she’ll tell him exactly how they’re going to pull this off.
Chad will ultimately pay Shawn a visit as part of that plan, so stay tuned for more drama.
Other Days spoilers say Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will fume over what he witnesses in the DiMera CEO office.
Jake will walk in on Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) passionate moment, so an argument should break out.
DOOL fans know Jake scored evidence against Belle and assumed it’d be a game-changer in his relationship with Gabi.
After Jake sees Gabi moving on with Johnny so quickly, he may not be so sure it changes anything at all.
Regardless, the devil will no doubt have more tricks up his sleeve to keep Jake and Gabi apart.
