Tonight on CBS their new drama Good Sam about a gifted heart surgeon starring Sophia Bush and Jason Isaacs airs with an all-new Wednesday, March 23, 2022 episode and we have your Good Sam episode below. On tonight’s Good Sam season 1 episode 8 called, “Keep Talking,” as per the CBS synopsis, “When Amy Taylor (Bethany Joy Lenz)is admitted to the hospital accompanied by her sister, Gretchen (Hilarie Burton), with signs of premature heart disease, Dr. Sam Griffith discovers a deeper medical mystery.

Also, Griff anxiously awaits the results of his MRI, hoping to get to the root of his troubling symptoms.

In tonight’s Good Sam episode, Griff wakes in a sweat. He will get his radiology results and wants to get to work right away. Lex goes in with him although she thinks it is too early. She arrives to see Sam.

Mrs. Kingsley gives Sam a list of applicants for Griff’s position. She knows there is something wrong with Griff. Sam stands behind her dad. Griff gets the news they have found nothing. He tells Sam and Lex. He is bothered there is no reason. They get an idea. They present the case to the team without using Griff’s name. Lex tells Sam on the side about Griff’s interrupted sleep cycles. She plans to track them.

The team meets with two sisters. One of them has a heart problem and needs surgery. She suddenly coughs up blood. She has something more they believe. Meanwhile, Malcolm tells Vivian he plans to get his mom on his side when it comes to the clinic since his dad didn’t take him seriously.

Sam and Lex talk about Griff. Maybe he has PTSD and this a psychological issue. They want to try and rule this out. They need a therapist, one they trust. They bring him to Vivian’s boyfriend. Sam stays for the session. They delve into Sam’s childhood accident. Griff was driving and clearly hasn’t forgiven himself. The therapist suggests Griff has unresolved feelings and they should work on it together.

Malcolm talks with his mom. She wants to help him but she wants help learning what Griff is hiding. Meanwhile, Sam learns her patient Amy who has a heart problem has free air in her diaphragm. She is in surgery. Sam steps into the OR. Amy has varices as well. She may be drinking still.

Malcolm makes small talk with Sam about Griff when they see one another. She picks up on his snooping.

The team confronts Amy who insists she didn’t drink. Her sister has a breathalyzer and tests her. It shows she has a level of alcoholism in her system. Her sister gets angry and leaves. Amy swears she hasn’t been drinking.

Sam talks with her mom about Griff. She shares the PTSD possibility and how Malcolm’s mom is out to get Griff. Sam also blames herself a little. Her mom tells her she isn’t to blame.

Sam and the team hypothesize that maybe Amy’s body is making the alcohol, there is such a syndrome. They prep her for a procedure. She gets angry and combative. Griff acts funny during the situation. Sam sees this and pulls him aside.

Malcolm reports back to his mom on Griff. He believes he is hiding something. Meanwhile, Sam learns Amy’s body isn’t making alcohol.

Sam and her parents go into therapy. Sam learns her dad was drunk and that is what caused the accident when she was a kid. They have been hiding this from her. She leaves and plays her piano. Tucker comes in. She was right about Amy. He demands she go with him to talk with Amy.

Malcolm’s dad comes to see him. He cannot believe her went to his mother. Did he forget what she did to them. Malcolm wants the clinic, it is important to him.

Sam’s mom finds her and tries to apologize. Sam doesn’t want to talk. She finds Tucker. The pair lock themselves in the locker room.
