Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday, March 24, teases that Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will suggest a Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) solution – and Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) verdict will be in. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will also have some grim Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) news, so there’ll be some big moments happening all over Salem.
Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) framed Rafe with the help of some perps with ties to the Vitali organization.
Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) has been working hard to prove Rafe was set up, but she’s faced hurdle after hurdle.
At this point, Rafe’s case is in the jury’s hands. Days spoilers say Rafe will anxiously await the verdict along with Nicole, but it looks like justice will prevail.
The jury may not believe there’s enough evidence for a conviction here.
Within the next episode or two, Ava will have a major outburst at her motel room hideout.
Ava might watch the news or see the outcome of Rafe’s trial online.
Perhaps Ava will realize her frame job failed – leaving Rafe to get off scot-free for sleeping with Nicole behind Ava’s back.
If that’s how things play out, Ava’s going to be furious!
Of course, Rafe and Nicole will remain angry about the setup itself, so that’ll lead to an explosive confrontation with Ava as the week wraps up.
Nicole and Rafe will apparently track Ava down soon, but let’s talk about Sarah in the meantime.
Kayla will have some difficult updates for Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) and Abigail involving Sarah’s condition.
Sarah was livid when she was restrained in the mental ward against her will, but she won’t have to stay there for much longer.
Kayla may admit that despite all their tests, they’re not sure how to fix Sarah’s scrambled brain.
Kayla might think it’d help for Sarah to move back in the Kiriakis mansion and be around things to remind her of her old life.
Since Sarah will be adamant about living with Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), Maggie will head to the DiMera manse and deliver a heartfelt plea.
Days spoilers say Maggie will pressure Tony to move in with Sarah for a while, so he’ll be tempted to help them both out.
Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) will flip out over Tony taking things this far with “Renee DuMonde,” but Tony will argue this is only temporary.
Even so, Tony and Anna are going to have a massive argument over him putting Sarah first.
Anna will think Tony needs to show a little more respect to his wife, but he’ll refuse to turn his back on mentally ill Sarah.
As for Abigail, she’ll relay what she’s learned to Xander and suggest Dr. Rolf might be able to pitch in.
The doctors at the hospital won’t have answers, but Dr. Rolf might!
Dr. Rolf created the serum that led to Sarah’s issues, so he might be able to cure her, too.
Xander will agree it’s worth a shot and will fill Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) in on the idea later.
Days spoilers say Xander will want to be honest with Gwen about where they stand.
Xander will acknowledge that with Sarah back and facing so many issues, his heart isn’t in wedding planning right now.
Xander won’t be able to commit to a future with Gwen and will think helping Sarah is what matters most.
Gwen will try to put on a brave face, but she’ll be deeply saddened over the wedding setback and will fear her future with Xander is slipping away.
However, Gwen might have a chance to sabotage Sarah’s recovery.
DOOL fans know Gwen used to be in cahoots with Dr. Rolf, so they have a history of doing favors for each other.
Since Xander will push Gwen to come to his Dr. Rolf meeting, that could lead to an interesting twist.
Maybe Gwen will corner Dr. Rolf alone and push him to claim there’s nothing he can do for Sarah – even if there actually is!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen will cling to hope for the next chapter with Xander, but she could dig a deeper hole for herself.
