The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, March 28, tease that Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) shocking return will play out while Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) gets some unsettling news. Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) fury will also erupt, so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.
At Crimson Lights, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will remain a nervous wreck over Michael’s terrible ordeal.
Fortunately, Lauren’s about to get the reunion she’s been dreaming of.
It won’t be long until Michael appears in the patio doorway, so Lauren will gasp at this stunning sight.
The coffeehouse may not be the most romantic reunion location ever, but what matters is Michael will come home seemingly unharmed – at least physically.
Of course, Michael has still been through some trauma.
It’s obvious Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) had Michael stashed somewhere, so he’s faced a kidnapping and a hostage situation.
Michael will have some updates for Lauren as well as Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), but he’ll mostly want to relax now that his ordeal is over.
It’s safe to say Michael will never want to go back to Peru on any wild missions.
Michael should also have serious reservations about working for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) after this.
In fact, Lauren will likely forbid any future assignments and make it clear that Michael is officially retired!
As for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), she’ll think fast when Ashland begs to work things out.
Victoria will decide to play Ashland for the fool this time around, but Nick will mistakenly assume it’s a real reunion.
Y&R spoilers say Nick will explode over Ashland duping Victoria once more, but it’s clear that Victoria’s eyes have been opened.
Now Victoria will want to regain the upper hand and perhaps get a little revenge in the process.
It looks like Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) may understand the angle Victoria is working, but he’ll no doubt worry it could backfire.
A guy like Ashland is capable of anything so Victoria will have to be extremely careful.
Even so, Billy has been in Victoria’s shoes when it comes to feeling deceived and wanting to beat someone at their own game.
Billy may hint to Nick about what Victoria’s up to and feel like they should let this ride.
Later, Ashland will make a phone call – no doubt a shady one as he tries to cover his tracks again.
Victoria will spy on Ashland from afar and know she has to play this just right.
Abby will pop back up and seems poised to get disturbing news about the accusations against Ashland.
Abby will be at Society with Ashland and Victoria, so she may notice something is off and demand answers from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) or someone else in the know.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may think Victoria’s behavior is helping his own rise to the top, but Victoria just might prove she’s as conniving and vengeful as her father!
