Tonight’s Transplant episode begins with Bash discussing his past trauma in prison with his therapist. Later, at the hospital, Novak and Bash handle an emergency patient, even though LeBlanc offered to do it, Novak choose Bash. The patient’s name is Vincent, he has a horrible injury to his leg, his wife is watching on and she is distraught.

LeBlanc is handling a patient who is vomiting, she tells her that the milk she drank was expired and there was a mouse inside. LeBlanc tells her that she had food poisoning they will do blood work and it will pass. Elsewhere, Singh tells Curtis about her promotion and welcomes her to the deep end.

Hunter is examining a young boy, Eman, who has been having fevers. He had a cold, his teeth were bothering him. Hunter looks into his mouth, he tells his mom that they are going to have to check his white blood cell count, he could have an infection.
Vincent is in the hospital as a patient.

Bash goes out to see Vincent’s wife, he has been asking for her. She sees him and notices how pale he is. One in his room, he asks her if she is ok. She says her blade almost killed him. Bash says Vincent could be off his feet for six months. All of a sudden, his wife falls unconscious. Vincent tells Bash she has been taking something and she doesn’t know that he knows.

Eman is having trouble beating. Hunter says there was a ruptured abce4ss that probably led to the fevers. Hunter finds lesions on his hands and feet, Hunter says that it is Eman’s heart, maybe an affection caused by the oral infection. They need to do more tests. Arnold comes in to do an echocardiogram. His mother feels bad, she says she didn’t take him to a dentist because she didn’t have the money. Her ex-husband was abusive and she manages it all by herself.

Basha finds out that Vincent’s wife’s CT is clear, it must be something in her system that caused her to pass out. Basha speaks to her and asks if she is taking something that could damage her liver. She says she has been taking supplements from a trainer, he gets them online She has been taking them a few months after she fell and hurt her knee. He says now that they know the cause they will do what they can to stop the damage. She says she is 22 but there are always young skaters coming up behind them, they needed to make it this season.

Bishop is going through a series of tests at the hospital for his hands while Novak, in a medical review, openly accuses him of knowing he was unfit to operate and did it anyway. Malone says that he was hiding it, he knew he didn’t recover properly from his head injury. He didn’t know how bad it was, but the lack of judgment was all his.
Bash’s love life takes a soar with Raniya, he wants to move in with her.

Bash goes to see Vincent, he says that she is having acute liver failure. Vincent is beside himself, he says he should have stopped her from taking them. Vincent blames himself.

Mel tells Theo that when he chose “this” he didn’t choose her and it is not working. He tells her that he will return home. She says no, doing this job he is happy. He can still be a great dad to his daughters, just not a husband to her.
Eman is going to be able to fight off the infection without any damage to his heart.

Bishop confronts Bash and tells him he should never have gotten involved, it was not his fight. Bash tells him that if it is his fight, then why won’t he fight it.

Vincent visits his wife and asks her how they got so out of synch, she says fear. He tells her that they will get through this. Bash tells them that they have beaten the odds today.
