Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that we have to ask: Will Jordi Vilasuso return as Dario Hernandez? Is Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s (Camila Banus) brother needed back in Salem?
Now that Vilasuso is out as Detective Rey Rosales on The Young and the Restless, it leaves him available for a Days comeback.
Perhaps Vilasuso could do some soap hopping and return to the role of Dario Hernandez next.
Y&R’s Rey is someone who tends to play by the rules since he’s a cop, but DOOL’s Dario was always more criminally inclined – much to his cop brother’s dismay!
Dario was mentioned back when Eduardo Hernandez (A Martinez) showed up with news of a threat against the Hernandez family.
Someone tried to kill Dario, so Eduardo feared Rafe and Gabi could be next.
Thankfully, that threat was resolved, so Rafe and Gabi ultimately came back on canvas. Could it be Dario’s turn to return to Days now that Vilasuso is free?
Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) seems poised to find herself single once all her terrible secrets come to light.
Although part of Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) loves Gwen, he’s already struggling to commit to her with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) back as a possible option.
Once Sarah is finally herself again, that’ll make it even tougher for Xander to stay by Gwen’s side.
Of course, it’s hard to believe Xander could ever stick with Gwen once he finds out she hid Sarah’s island captivity – or that she impersonated Sarah and lied right to his face.
Gwen also played a role in kidnapping Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), so she’s done some terrible things in the name of trying to hold onto Xander.
All Gwen’s hard work should go down the drain once Xander reunites with Sarah, but maybe scheming Dario could come back for a Gwen romance.
Then again, maybe there could be some other hot love interest for Dario.
A Dario and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) pairing might be interesting, especially since Rafe is her ex!
There’d be a lot of great dramatic potential if Dario returned to Salem, so it’s an option worth considering if Vilasuso might be on board.
