The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, April 5 Recap – Diane Impersonates Ashley – Victoria Gives Ashland Framing Suspect

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, April 5, reveals that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will brainstorm a bold move while Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) gives Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) a new framing suspect.

In Victoria’s office on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, she’ll receive a call about storms grounding the private jet.

Ashland will get on the phone and grumble over the delay before telling Victoria about his latest confrontation with Adam.

That’ll lead Victoria to suggest that maybe the answer to all this has been staring them in the face.

Victoria will argue that Adam is devious enough to do this and will point out that her brother once pulled his own medical scam by pretending to be blind.

It’ll seem like the wheels are turning for Ashland, who’ll decide Victoria is onto something.

Ashland will declare that the Tuscany trip is off since they need to stay and do a deep dive into Adam’s activities.

Victoria will go along with that and agree that they have to put pressure on Adam.

Victoria will admit it won’t be easy to prove Adam’s to blame, but Ashland will vow to find a way.

Ashland will seem relieved over Victoria helping him see an end to this nightmare – and Victoria will reply that it’s indeed the beginning of the end.

At Newman Media, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will admit to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that he was behind the bogus weather flight delay.

Nikki will bicker with Victor about how he sent a message by putting Adam in charge temporarily.

Nikki will feel like Victoria’s putting herself at risk to prove herself to Victor again and will think their daughter’s well-being has to be the priority.

Victor will assure Nikki that he’s indeed focused on getting Victoria through this crisis.

Victor will be undecided on how to deal with all the company drama, but he’ll feel like they can deal with that later.

At Society, Sally will thank Adam for having faith in her to run Newman Media.

Sally will worry about Ashland’s vindictiveness and what he might do once he finds out he’s being played.

Adam will put money on Victoria to come out on top.

Adam will know better than to underestimate Victoria, but he’ll also feel like she’ll be left cleaning up a mess – even if everything goes perfectly when it comes to the divorce and pushing Ashland out.

Sally will think Adam’s being put to the test, so he’ll agree he needs some impressive move – something to show he deserves to stay on as Newman-Locke’s CEO.

Adam will feel like he has to go big or go home, so he’ll turn to Sally for help as they brainstorm.

In Los Angeles, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will surprise Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) with her arrival and wonder what’s going on.

Jack will ultimately confess that an alive Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is the texter and that she wants help reconnecting with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

Once Phyllis accepts the bombshell, she’ll clash with Jack about how to handle it.

Jack will want to shield Kyle from the news, but Phyllis will think that’s impossible since they’re dealing with a wrecking ball like Diane.

In the end, Jack will decide that Phyllis is right. He’ll hope to buy some time so that he can warn Kyle before she blindsides him.

At her new house, Diane will make a call and get the number for Kyle’s direct line in Milan.

Diane will claim she’s Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and will look pleased when her deception pays off.

Moments later, Jack will show up on Diane’s doorstep – and then Phyllis will appear, too. Phyllis will reel as she realizes Diane is truly alive and well.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Diane and Phyllis’ battle is about to reignite, so stay tuned to the CBS soap.
