The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) could frame Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) for shooting Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). Will Sheila plant the stolen valuables and throw the cops off the trail?
Of course, Sheila stole those valuables to make the shooting look like a robbery that had a horrible outcome.
Sheila bagged them all up upon returning to her hotel room, so there’s a chance that Sheila will get rid of them or that they’ll be discovered in her room later.
However, there’s also a chance that Sheila will prove herself twisted and devious once again.
Sheila could grow concerned about the possibility of getting busted and decide framing someone else is the best option.
It’s possible Sheila could frame a bartender that fans don’t know very well – like the guy who was familiar with the Forresters and happened to be on duty that night.
Nevertheless, the story would have more impact with a suspect who’s a more prominent character.
The cops are going to want to point the finger at someone, so who’s it going to be?
Could Sheila make sure the proof leads to Deacon – perhaps by planting the evidence in his storage room locker?
B&B fans know the police are never very smart on the CBS soap, so they could assume Deacon tried to cover his own tracks and avoid suspicion by making that 911 call.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) has always felt like Deacon is a lowlife criminal who’s out for money.
He’ll also be looking for someone to blame, so he’ll have no problem blaming Deacon if he’s caught with Steffy and Finn’s valuables.
Vengeful rage often overrides logic in situations like this.
This could certainly fit with the story of Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) being Deacon’s fierce defender.
Brooke might assure Ridge that Deacon is being framed and would never do something so heinous, but Ridge could act like she’s taking Deacon’s side once again.
In other words, Brooke might see any Deacon accusations for what they are: the setup of a man who doesn’t have a strong motive.
Ridge and the less-than-competent cops could be the ones fighting to put Deacon back behind bars – all while Sheila schemes on the down low.
Naturally, this setup plan will depend greatly on how much Steffy remembers about the shooting once she awakens.
Even so, there’s the potential for Sheila to use the valuables she stole for misdirection and confuse the cops working the case.
