In tonight’s Bull episode., Greta Page was murdered. The chief suspect was her husband’s mistress. Greta had seemingly confronted the mistress on the day she died and she died not long afterward. Her husband came to the summer house to meet with his mistress when he ended up finding his wife’s body. But the mistress wasn’t just anybody. It was Diana Lindsey. As in Bull’s Diana.
Bull and Diana were heavily involved when he slept with his ex-wife at a funeral and they got pregnant. Bull left Diana to be with Izzy. He went on to become a family with Izzy. He hasn’t talked with Diana since he broke her heart and so he felt compelled to help her now that she’s in legal trouble.
Diana was arrested for murder. Everyone believes she killed Greta to get the man. Even Diana’s married boyfriend thought she did it and so Diana needed as much help as possible. She reached out to Bull. She told him about the situation and he dropped everything to see her. He even postponed a well-planned vacation with his family to support his ex. Izzy hadn’t been happy with him about that. She was feeling insecure about Bull working with Diana. She later asked Marissa if Bull had been deeply in love with Diana. And Marissa gave a non-answer about not being sure if he had.
Only Bull could answer that question. Marissa said that to Izzy and so Izzy had to stew a bit. She was doing this as the rest of the team was helping Diana come up with a case. All the evidence looks like she did it. There was even blood on Diana’s jacket that came from the victim.
Diana had said that Greta grabbed her by the arm. Meaning Greta’s DNA will also be on the jacket. The TAC team also looked at everyone who could access the house and only two other people besides Greta did. Diana was one of them. Frederick Page was the other. The team started to theorize that maybe the husband killed Greta.
They looked for evidence of this. They couldn’t find it. Frederick was left-handed. It was unclear what hand the killer used because the stabbing was so frenzied. The ADA (also known as Chunk’s boyfriend) had brought in an expert. This expert proved that from the time Frederick arrived at the house till the moments that the paramedics did – there was no chance that Frederick killed her. He didn’t have the time. The only other suspect was Diana. It also doesn’t help that the media is writing about her like she was a woman-hater who likes to sleep with married men. They even accused her of still sleeping with Bull.
Which upset Izzy. Izzy didn’t want to see that in the papers. She went into the bathroom to get a break from the media when she ran into Diana. Diana was sick. She was vomiting. Izzy recognized it as a symptom of pregnancy and so she asked Diana if she was pregnant. She was. Diana found out about the baby a day before the murder. She later confessed to Bull about the pregnancy and he told her that it didn’t look good. It looks like Diana killed Greta in order to raise a family with Frederick. Bull even asked her if she did kill Greta. Diana said “no”. She said she never loved that man enough to kill for him.
The only man she had ever loved to such an extent was Bull. But she didn’t kill Izzy, so she couldn’t be responsible for Greta’s death and the more the team looked into the more they came to believe that Greta killed herself. Greta told a neighbor that she was going to confront her husband’s mistress. She implied she just found out about it. That wasn’t true. Greta had known about the affairs for months because she had been tracking her husband’s movements. Greta’s son recently did a weather balloon tied to a camera. Security cameras from the beach house that day showed someone sent something up in a balloon.
It turns out Greta killed herself. She killed herself and then she framed Diana for it because she wanted Diana to pay. It was crazy. But Greta has done plenty of stuff like this before. She planted cocaine on a coach who kicked her daughter off of the soccer team. She set up a fake porn site for a neighbor who was too pretty. Greta was crazy. Her husband testified about it because he heard Diana was pregnant and he hadn’t wanted to hurt the mother of his child.
The jury later found Diana not guilty. But Diana doesn’t know what to do next and its unlikely she’s ever going to get back together with Frederick.
But another breakup was Chunk’s. Chunk broke up with the gorgeous ADA because they have a difference of principles.
