The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, April 12, tease that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will make a bold decision while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) tricks Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) motives will also be questioned, so there’ll be some schemes and shockers happening all over town.
First on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Sharon will offer a sympathetic ear to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Since Nick has already been confiding some of his family’s Ashland problems, Sharon will seek updates on the plan.
Nick trusts Sharon enough to spill, so he may admit Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) wants to throw Adam under the bus with his cooperation.
The problem is that Nick doesn’t have a lot of faith in Adam to be a team player.
Sharon will offer some advice, so that could be as simple as urging Nick to do his part and hope for the best.
It’s beyond Nick’s control at this point – though Sharon will no doubt hope that Adam will do whatever causes the least amount of damage.
Nevertheless, Victor will have concerns about a judgment call Adam makes.
It looks like that’ll lead to some father-son bickering as Victor questions Adam’s motives and reminds him of what’s at stake.
Victor knows Adam is hungry for power, but he may advise his son to leave his ego out of this. The sooner they can catch Ashland planting bogus evidence against Adam, the sooner they can kick this con man out of Newman-Locke and push him out of Victoria’s life.
Victor will move forward with the next phase of the scheme, which should involve dangling more bait. We’ll see Victor try to trick Ashland in some way, so that’ll add to the trap that’s coming together.
Unfortunately, Adam is on the verge of carrying out his own plot and could put what the rest of the family’s doing in jeopardy. During the week of April 11-15, Adam will present a half-billion dollar offer to Ashland in exchange for leaving Victoria and the company completely.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will feel like she needs to clarify something with Victoria, so that could involve her own fears about the takedown effort. Although Nikki is going along with Victoria’s idea, that doesn’t mean she’s totally confident in it paying off.
Back with Sharon, she’ll stand her ground after deciding on something. Sharon will be rather bold in her opinion, so we’ll see if that ties in with her advice for Nick or perhaps Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) plans.
After Rey reveals that he’s going on a hockey game trip with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), how will Sharon feel about that? Could Sharon stand against it?
It’s rather inappropriate for a married man to be acting like he’s part of another family, especially without running it by Sharon first. However, we’ll see what Sharon has to say when Rey finally gives her the news!
