The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, April 11, teases that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will enjoy a flirty reconnection while Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) doom their big day with a strange decision.
At the coffeehouse, Tessa and Mariah will make a surprising wedding date announcement.
They’ll reveal that they’re getting married on May 13, so that’ll bring worries since it’s so soon and happens to fall on Friday the 13th.
Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will sound the alarm over the unlucky date with Nick backing her up somewhat.
Sharon will also seem uneasy over the choice, but Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will show his support and pitch a ‘70s glam theme.
After Mariah and Tessa check out Noah’s visual aid, they’ll think it’s perfect.
Unfortunately, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will feel like an outsider after his reception idea is dismissed.
Rey will also have to listen to Nick and Sharon’s flirty, fond memories of another ‘70s theme bash.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will immediately pick up on Rey’s strange vibe when she walks in.
Rey will be grateful to get away from the wedding planning and speak with Chelsea privately.
On the patio, Chelsea will reveal that her urgent business trip is no longer happening.
Chelsea will be free to attend the Blackhawks game with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and will confess that she bought an extra ticket.
Chelsea will think they should all go together, including Rey.
Rey will be reluctant to intrude on Chelsea and Connor’s family time, but she’ll insist Connor specifically asked for Rey to be there.
After Chelsea pleads for Connor’s sake, Rey will gaze through the doorway at Sharon and Nick talking.
Rey will decide he’s in on the hockey game trip, so Chelsea will be delighted.
Since Mariah and Tessa won’t be superstitious about their wedding being on Friday the 13th, Sharon will decide she just wants them to be happy.
Sharon will hug Mariah and celebrate the fact that her daughter is marrying the love of her life.
In Los Angeles on Monday’s Y&R episode, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will consider calling Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) as she dials his number.
However, Diane will think back to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) putting her on full blast and then recall Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) having a softer reaction to her goals.
Diane will pull up Allie’s contact info on her phone as she mulls over whether to reach out once more.
As for Allie, she’ll speak with Jack and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) at the café.
That’ll bring Allie’s confession about meeting with Diane again and trying to understand her perspective.
Allie will cut Diane slack for her mistakes and will think she’s genuinely trying to change.
After Allie suggests Diane deserves a shot at bonding with Kyle, Jack will suggest his son will make that decision.
Jack will just be willing to tell Kyle about Diane’s survival and offer the opportunity to reconnect with her.
Allie will fish to find out if Jack might forgive Diane, but he won’t think it’s possible.
Phyllis will suspect Diane talked Allie into speaking on her behalf or found some other manipulation method.
Allie will make it clear that she’s acting on her own and that Diane’s story just resonated with her.
At one point, Allie will express curiosity over whether Jack and Phyllis might be a couple, but they’ll be saved from answering by Allie’s phone notification.
When Diane texts about another meeting, Allie will decline since Jack and Diane will be against the idea.
As for a potential trip to Genoa City, Allie won’t be ready to commit since she has school and finals to worry about.
Jack will insist there’s no pressure, but he’ll promise there’s a standing offer to fly Allie to GC and meet the rest of the Abbott family.
Allie will end up pulling Jack into a warm embrace before she leaves, so that’ll touch his heart.
Soon after, Jack and Phyllis will barge in Diane’s place. Diane will defend herself over her continued contact with Allie, but Jack will argue that it stops now.
After Diane fears Jack might go back on his word regarding Kyle, Jack will admit he’s already reached out to their son.
Jack will just be waiting to hear back so he can set up an in-person meeting and break the news that Diane is alive.
Jack will contend that Kyle has to be the one to make the first move here. As for Phyllis, she’ll act like it’s wishful thinking for Diane to believe she’ll win Kyle over.
Jack will note that the last thing he wants is for Kyle’s heart to get broken, but he’ll believe that’s all Diane’s capable of.
Once Diane is alone, she’ll book a flight back to Genoa City and look ready to cause more trouble.
At the café, Jack and Phyllis will try to figure out how they’ll fill everyone in on Diane’s survival. They’ll have to hurry since Diane clearly has plans of her own!
