Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of April 18-22 tease that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will expose Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) secrets – and the double nuptials will blow up. Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) son will get a name as well, so here’s what Days viewers can look forward to.
After Ava’s arrest, she’ll tempt Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) with a shocking offer – one that could sink Gwen for good!
Abigail will like the sound of that, so she should push Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) to pull some DiMera strings and get Ava off the hook for setting up Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering).
That’ll take some legal maneuvering, but Ava will indeed walk free – and in exchange, she’ll be willing to rat Gwen out for all her secrets and crimes.
That includes Gwen’s decision to swap Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) antidote for another mind-altering drug dose.
Before the double wedding gets underway, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will confess something to Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas).
It’s possible Leo will admit his relationship with Craig indeed started out as a scam, but he may promise that it became something very real and unexpected in the end.
Regardless, Leo will make some sort of confession – though it may be more about combating Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) attempts to blow up the marriage.
Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) will get a wedding invite, but she won’t be sure she wants to attend.
At Bonnie Lockhart’s (Judi Evans) urging, Nancy will get on a dating app and decide to put herself back out there.
However, it looks like Nancy will meet someone in real life and find some flying sparks instead.
There’s a good chance Nancy and Clyde Weston (James Read) will be the ones who make a surprising connection.
Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) will attend Gwen’s nuptials, so they’ll be around to watch her past mistakes come back to haunt her.
Thanks to Ava’s secret spillage and some wedding crasher chaos that Chad sets up, Gwen’s about to face her downfall.
Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will soon find out that Gwen knew about Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) time on that island long before he did.
Gwen then attacked Abigail and sent her to that same island to keep her quiet.
DOOL fans know Gwen also wore the Sarah mask and lied right to Xander’s face.
The antidote switch should really send Xander over the edge since that directly affected Sarah’s mental state.
Xander seems poised to dump Gwen at the altar – and her arrest may follow!
Although things will look bleak for Gwen, she’ll insist on getting the last word in with Abigail. Gwen may insist this isn’t over and vow to get her revenge.
Nancy will decide to make an appearance due to Craig and Leo’s side of the ceremony, so we’ll hear what she has to say following her interruption!
Next, Ava’s freedom will enrage Gabi, who’ll feel like all her hard work to put her rival behind bars went down the drain.
Rafe won’t be happy about the deal Ava struck either, especially since that’ll leave her out of police custody and capable of getting even.
As for Ben, he’ll have a hunch that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) is crushing hard on Ava.
Plus, Ben and Ciara will settle on a name for their little one after putting some serious thought into it.
Now that Ciara and Ben know they’re having a baby boy, could the name they choose contain a nod to Bo Brady (Peter Reckell)?
Time will tell, but we have no doubt that Ben and Ciara will make the perfect choice.
In the DiMera crypt, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will mess with Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) mind – most likely through some illusions to torment him.
Other Days spoilers say Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) will find herself drawn to Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) as they discuss their mutual heartbreak.
Will Tripp and Chanel become a new love match?
Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will also spend some time catching up with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) following his return to town.
There’ll be another case of exes reconnecting when Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) plants a kiss on Abe Carver (James Reynolds)!
TR Coates (William Christian) surely isn’t going to like the idea of Paulina and Abe rekindling anything, so we’ll see what his next move is.
