General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) may go after Selina Wu (Lydia Look) over her Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) blackmail. Will Ms. Wu find that she’s met her match?
Selina is one dangerous “lady gangster” as Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) called her.
Ms. Wu proved it when she pushed Britt to manipulate Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) – or else Selina intends to rat Britt out for all her shady activities.
Britt committed some yet-to-be-revealed crimes during her time on the run with Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).
Selina specifically mentioned something that happened in Lisbon back in 2016, which she thought the WSB would be very interested in.
Of course, what all this boils down to is Selina threatening to send Britt back to prison.
Selina could be making a big mistake considering who Britt’s mother is.
If Selina knows all about Faison’s criminal history, she should know about Obrecht’s past as well.
Selina clearly isn’t scared of Liesl since she’s blackmailing her beloved daughter, but maybe she should be!
If this situation escalates, Obrecht may end up getting involved.
Britt might even go to Liesl for help down the road and set the stage for quite a showdown.
It’d be fun to see Obrecht and Selina go to war since they’d be such formidable foes.
Would you bet on Liesl to emerge victorious in that battle? Could Selina really come out on top against Obrecht’s own special brand of crazy, vengeful protectiveness?
Regardless, Liesl and Selina’s erupting conflict may be inevitable. At the very least, it should be entertaining to watch Selina and Obrecht spar with each other.
Selina may become Liesl’s target if this blackmail drama gets worse. Britt might have to team up with her mom or let Obrecht take the lead on handling Selina’s threat.
Selina would probably be a dead woman walking if she actually sent Britt back to prison, so she’d be smart to keep that in mind!
