The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, April 15 Recap – Victoria Agrees To Ashland’s Annulment & Company Surrender

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, April 15, reveals that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will agree to an annulment and company surrender. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will greenlight the decision, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on Y&R.

First, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will make it clear that the ball’s in his court when it comes to the terms of the deal.

Adam will find Ashland alone in his hotel suite and spell out what’s expected. Adam will insist that Ashland will have to sign a legal agreement relinquishing control of Newman-Locke.

Adam will add that Ashland will have to agree to an annulment, but Ashland will question why it isn’t a divorce. Adam will argue that it wasn’t a valid marriage considering the fraud that came with it.

Adam will promise that once everything is signed, then they’ll wire the money into Ashland’s desired account.

Ashland will want the money first, but Adam will assure Ashland that they aren’t going to risk his revenge by screwing him over.

Adam will stand his ground on Ashland signing the paperwork first and will declare that it’s non-negotiable.

Meanwhile, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will pick up some thrift store outfits following Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) suggestion.

Tessa and Mariah will have a little fashion show at their apartment as they try to figure out their dream wedding outfits.

Although Mariah and Tessa won’t nail down exactly what they want, they’ll get plenty of inspiration for Chelsea as their designer.

After discussing their upcoming vows and making love, Tessa and Mariah will acknowledge that the adoption has taken a backseat lately.

Nevertheless, Mariah and Tessa will confirm that they still want to start a family once things settle down.

Tessa will feel confident this is going to be the best year of their lives.

At Society, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will get the cold shoulder when she tries to approach Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

Although Sally won’t blame Lily after the whole fiasco when she spied on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), she’ll hope for a way to make amends and wipe the slate clean.

Sally will feel like they’re running in the same circles now that she’s the COO of Newman Media.

She’ll point out there might be opportunities to work together in the future, so she’ll want a fresh start.

Lily will truly hope Sally is a better person than when she first came to town. That said, Lily will feel like second chances have to be earned.

Sally will accept that challenge and hope that they can be friends one day.

Lily will admit that Sally certainly doesn’t lack nerve, but she’ll think Sally might want to work on subtlety next time.

In his podcast studio, Billy will struggle to get Victoria off his mind.

Billy will call Nick and wonder if he should talk to Victoria again, but Nick will warn Billy to stay out of it since things have gotten complicated.

Although Nick won’t be willing to divulge details just yet, he’ll have no intention of letting Ashland get away with what he’s done to Victoria.

Billy will then focus on his podcast, but he’ll run into some trouble.

Billy will feel like it’ll be too easy to figure out that he’s talking about Ashland and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

That’ll lead Billy to the conclusion that he should do another podcast under a pseudonym.

Billy will pitch the idea to Lily and point out that he can create a new persona.

Billy will plan to use a harmonizer to change his voice and say the things that Billy Abbott can’t publicly say.

After Lily offers her approval, Billy will try out some different voices until he finds a disguised one that feels right.

As he speaks into the microphone, Billy will wonder whether the powerful that have corrupted can be redeemed or if they’ll only be destroyed.

When Sally returns to Newman Media, she’ll find Adam looking frustrated.

Adam will admit that Ashland wouldn’t commit to the deal and will mention that the annulment got under his skin.

Sally will consider the idea that Ashland really does have feelings for Victoria, but Adam won’t see how that’s possible under the circumstances.

After Adam admits they bickered over who’d shoot first, he’ll add that Ashland needed to find out one last thing before he’d agree to the deal.

Adam will bet it has something to do with Victoria.

In Victoria’s office, she’ll think back to Ashland pushing her to create a new life with him.

Victoria will also reminisce about the portrait Ashland offered as a wedding gift and how it was supposed to signify a new beginning.

Once Nick arrives, he’ll argue with Victoria about Adam’s plan. Nick will think it might be the best one they have if Ashland’s on board.

Victoria will lash out over Nick siding with Adam, but he’ll deny doing that.

In fact, Nick will be sick and tired of everyone treating Ashland with kid gloves.

He’ll want to handle Ashland himself, but Victoria will convince Nick that he might make things worse.

Victoria will assure Nick that she won’t let Ashland crush her. Victoria will insist she’s stronger than the family thinks she is, but Nick won’t doubt that.

Nick will mostly worry that Ashland has dug himself in so deep that they might never be able to get rid of him.

“Just the thought of it makes me want to strangle him!” Nick will declare just before Ashland shows up.

Victoria will want to speak with Ashland alone and will promptly ask him what he told Adam.

Ashland will point out that Victoria still hasn’t given him an answer. He’ll need that answer before he can give Adam one as well.

Ashland will ask Victoria if she’s willing to walk away and start fresh. He’ll contend that it’s the only way he’ll agree to the terms.

Victoria will wonder what those terms are, so Ashland will explain how he’ll have to surrender control of Newman-Locke and annul their marriage based on fraud.

Victoria will ask if Ashland’s willing to admit that their love was nothing but a sham. However, Ashland will counter that he’s not talking about their love.

Although Ashland will be willing to do everything Adam asks, he’ll assure Victoria that feelings can’t be bought with any amount of money.

Ashland will think one question remains and will ask if Victoria loves him.

Victoria will insist that of course she does and will claim she’s willing to leave all this behind for Ashland.

That’ll be all Ashland needed to hear, so he’ll pull Victoria into a hug – though she’ll look uneasy over his shoulder.

Ashland will call Adam and urge him to have the necessary paperwork drawn up. That’ll bring a celebratory kiss for Adam and Sally.

As for Victoria, she’ll smile until she embraces Ashland and once again looks pensive.
