The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, April 27 – Chelsea Defends Rey Relationship – Kyle’s Painful Diane Decision

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, April 27, tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will defend her Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) relationship while Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) faces a painful Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) decision.

For starters, Kyle will try to make sense of Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) bombshell. He won’t get how it’s even possible that Diane is still alive.

Jack will explain a bit more about Diane’s back-from-the-dead shocker and how she claims she’s a changed woman.

Jack will leave the ball in Kyle’s court when it comes to whether he wants to reconnect with his complicated mother.

Of course, that won’t be an easy decision since either option is a painful one.

Shutting Diane out after missing her all these years would certainly be difficult.

At the same time, Kyle can’t ignore that Diane’s faked death caused him and so many others a world of destruction.

Fortunately, Kyle will get some guidance from Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) at some point in the coming episodes.

Traci can’t tell Kyle what to do, but she can listen and help him follow his heart.

Meanwhile, Diane will grow increasingly impatient and might get a hunch about Kyle already being back in Genoa City.

If Diane tries to sneak out and head for the Abbott mansion, you can bet Phyllis will stand in her way!

Y&R spoilers say Phyllis will indeed catch Diane doing something she shouldn’t be doing.

It sounds like Diane will try to sneak out again and get busted, so Phyllis will gain the upper hand once again.

At Crimson Lights, Chelsea will come to her own defense.

After facing Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) outburst, it looks like Chelsea will have to defend her platonic relationship with Rey.

Sharon might lash out over the hockey game trip or even go back further to when Chelsea poisoned Rey to frame Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Chelsea may assure Sharon that she never wanted Rey dead and reiterate that friendship was the only thing between them.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will probably intervene and settle Sharon down since this will mostly be the grief talking.

Nick will know Sharon still needs time to process the loss and find a way to cope.

Chelsea will eventually head to Society and meet up with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), who’ll probably question her bestie’s true feelings for Rey.

This should give Chelsea a chance to be honest and get some support.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Rey’s death will continue to create some complex issues, so don’t miss what’s ahead.
