The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, May 3, tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will face a crushing setback while Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) makes a bold move. Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will also reunite, so these close friends will have a lot to catch up on.
First on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Adam will have a strategy session with Sally.
Although he initially wanted to wait and see what Victoria’s next tactic might be, Adam might have a change of heart.
Perhaps Adam will decide Sally’s right about him earning a permanent place at the top.
They may do some plotting and hope to lock in Adam’s role as Victoria’s official co-CEO.
Unfortunately, Victoria will have other plans, so she’ll announce Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) as her co-CEO and leave Adam blindsided.
Sally will be outraged on Adam’s behalf, especially since she was hoping to stay in charge at Newman Media.
While Victoria and Nikki become an even more powerful team, Victor will have another matter to deal with in Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) hotel suite.
Once Victor delivers his warning, Diane should realize she could end up dead for real if she dares to cross the Newman family!
Mariah will also reconnect with Kyle, so we’ll see if he’s ready to open up to someone about his mother’s shocking survival.
You can bet Mariah will lend a sympathetic ear if Kyle wants to talk, but she’ll understand if he needs to keep some things personal for now.
Whatever the case, Mariah will offer updates on her Friday the 13th wedding to Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks).
Kyle may assure Mariah that he wouldn’t miss it for the world and look forward to a fun distraction from all the Diane drama.
As for Billy, he’ll face another lecture from Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Just in case Lily wasn’t clear enough about Billy staying out of the Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) situation, she’ll reiterate her stance.
Lily will warn Billy to avoid getting dragged into the chaos, but he’ll grill Victoria about her feelings for Ashland anyway.
Billy will find out Ashland saved Victoria’s life, but he’ll truly hope she won’t let one good deed wipe away the past.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy will worry about Ashland sucking Victoria back into his messed-up vortex, so stay tuned!
