General Hospital Spoilers: Friday, April 29 Recap – Brando’s Threat Terrifies Smoltz - Sasha’s Admission Stuns Willow

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, April 29, reveals that Sasha Gilmore Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) driver admission stunned Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) while Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) threat terrified Smoltz (David Lautman).

At GH, Sasha remained a nervous wreck and tried to sneak a pill before Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) appeared.

Brando also got updates on the accident and wondered why the photographer was chasing Sasha, so Gladys explained that she stole the guy’s memory card.

In the chapel, Willow cried to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) about how she was just now starting to really reconnect with Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel).

Willow regretted the time she spent pushing Harmony away and would never forgive herself if her mom didn’t pull through.

Sasha eventually approached Willow and admitted she was the one who ran over Harmony.

Sasha felt horrible, but Willow seemed to understand that it was an accident on Sasha’s part.

However, Willow wondered if maybe Harmony jumped in front of the car on purpose.

Sasha acknowledged that it happened awfully fast, but she thought Harmony just didn’t see her.

After Carly debated whether she should tell Willow the whole truth now or later, she eventually headed to the chapel.

Willow remained confused over the circumstances that led to Harmony being in the woods, so Carly appeared and felt she could answer that.

Back with Brando, he became enraged when Smoltz approached him for a quote for his story about Sasha hitting a pedestrian.

Brando said “no comment,” so Smoltz suggested he could get one from the “Face of Collision” herself.

That led to Brando lunging at Smoltz, but Michael pulled Brando back.

Nevertheless, Brando got in Smoltz’s face and made it clear that freedom of speech wasn’t going to fly as an excuse with him.

Brando pretty much threatened to make Smoltz disappear if he pushed this, so Smoltz was scared enough to walk away.

As for Gladys, she reflected on Sasha’s strange behavior and seemed like she was realizing something.

Gladys got the memory card out and entered the elevator – apparently heading somewhere so she could view what was on it.

At Wyndemere, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) found a romantic setup for drinks and dessert, but she reminded Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) that she wanted Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) out of the house.

Nikolas acted like it was happening soon and explained how Laura Collins (Genie Francis) talked to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Ava was upset over Nikolas dragging his feet on kicking Esme out, but she also didn’t think their problems would be solved when Esme was gone.

After Ava pointed out their trust issues, Nikolas wondered if he should be expecting divorce papers.

Ava snapped about how she loved Nikolas and kissed him to prove it, so things got more passionate on the sofa.

Ava then pumped the brakes and acted like this couldn’t always be the solution. She made it clear that trust had to be built over time, not just with a couple grand gestures.

At the gallery, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) tried to make Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) understand that things were complicated with Esme.

After Esme appeared, she got into a fight with Trina over which one of them was the psycho.

Trina made it clear that one day, Esme wouldn’t fool anyone – except for maybe Spencer “the idiot.”

Trina wanted Esme out and accused her of trespassing.

While Trina was out of the room, Esme became upset over Spencer acting jealous over the cop who’d been with Trina.

Spencer denied it and argued that Officer Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) was just a jerk.

Esme kept badmouthing Trina, so Spencer raised more concerns by shutting her down.

Spencer covered by acting like he just didn’t want to see Esme getting all worked up.

Spencer made it clear that soon, Esme and Trina wouldn’t have to see each other at all.

Trina looked unsettled throughout the conversation as she listened nearby.

General Hospital spoilers say Spencer’s secret plan will continue to create messes, so stick with the ABC soap.
