The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of May 9-13 tease that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will deal with a ghost encounter while Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) battles heartache. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will also lay down the law with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), so here’s what viewers can expect.
First, let’s talk about a ghost sighting for Nick and Sharon.
It’s possible Y&R is just using cryptic language to describe Sharon and Nick’s interaction with Diane, who’s a ghost to those who don’t know she’s still alive yet.
However, we also have to consider the timing of this ghost sighting.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is set to marry Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) on Friday the 13th, so it seems like an excellent time for a ghostly visit from Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes).
It’d be great if Sharon and Nick could spot Cassie’s spirit before Mariah and Tessa make their marriage official.
Whatever the case, Kyle will officiate the ceremony like Mariah requested, so he’ll gladly help Tessa and Mariah tie the knot.
Kyle will also find himself in a tricky position with Diane.
Kyle will feel the need to lay down the law and tell his mother how it’s going to be, so Diane will face a stern ultimatum.
Kyle is giving Diane a chance to prove herself, but he may face more concerns if she spars with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) in front of him or something along those lines.
Y&R spoilers say Kyle will give Diane a warning and hope she indeed proves she’s changed like she promised.
Diane is a magnet for trouble, so she’s sure to have a hard time staying out of it despite her best efforts.
Nevertheless, there’s someone who might serve as an ally for Diane soon.
The Abbotts will welcome a special guest into their home – and it looks like it’ll be Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang).
Allie has proven she’s got a bit of a soft spot for Diane despite the deception she initially faced from her.
As a result, we may see Diane use Allie to her advantage once again.
In the meantime, Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) is sure to be feeling a bit down in the dumps.
Seeing how happy Mariah and Tessa as they prepare to marry could add to Noah’s single heartbreak.
Allie is going to be a new love interest for Noah, so we’ll see how long it takes them to cross paths for a meet-cute once she hits town.
Next, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will no doubt lean on Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) as he tries to calm down following Victoria’s betrayal.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will do a fantastic job as Victoria’s co-CEO, but that won’t stop Adam from thinking he deserves that spot instead.
Victoria will also deal with some heartache since part of her still longs to be with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) despite his mistakes.
As Victoria wrestles with complex emotions, she’ll get support from Victor and keep trying to put one foot in front of the other.
